Chapter 1747

Shortly after, the car came to a stop a short distance from them.

Ron stepped out of the car; he was by himself. He held an umbrella in hand and walked toward the

villa.

Upon reaching the front door, he looked around suspiciously before pushing the door open.

Someone had been waiting inside for him the entire time. The moment he pushed the door open, a woman was revealed. She

excitedly threw herself into Ron’s arms as soon as the door was opened.

The two behaved like a pair of a couple that had been reunited after an indeterminable length of separation. It was as if they

were mimicking the scenes commonly seen in romantic movies. It would have made for a wonderful scene if not for Ron’s

bulging belly and unsightly appearance.

Stalking from a short distance, Sherry and Lisa watched as Ron kissed the young woman in his arms, then went into the house

with his arms wrapped around her.

Sherry felt a wave of chill and goosebumps crawling on her skin. She turned to Lisa and asked, ” Aunt Lisa, is this the mistress

he’s been hiding?”

Lisa chuckled humorously, “You could say that. This mistress of his used to be his secretary. Keep your eyes peeled. This is only

the beginning.”

As soon as she said this, another car swerved into the compound.

The car screeched to a stop directly in front of the front door of the villa. The door was swiftly thrown open and out came three

stocky and large bodyguards, followed by what seemed like a middle-aged woman.

The middle-aged woman was none other than Anne Sager, the one who had threatened Sherry only two days ago outside the

Sager Tower!

Sherry drew her eyes wide open in complete disbelief. She pressed her face against the window.

Lisa smiled and declared, “The show has begun.”

The men who came with Anne bashed through the door effortlessly. With that, Anne stormed into the house, a menacing air

around her.

The rain was getting lighter by this point.

Shortly after.at, Sherry heard some cries coming from inside.

It was Ron’s frantic shout, followed by a woman’s shriek. What came after nat was a child’s cry.

Sherry frowned and asked, “Why is there a kid inside?”

Lisa grimaced, “I think it’s the kid he had with his secretary.”

Sherry was startled by this.

Soon, two bodyguards stepped out of the house, each of them carrying a child who looked about four

years old. The children were a pair of a boy and a girl. Both of them were frightened and were

crying for their mother.

The young lady, who they previously saw being affectionate with Ron at the front door, staggered out of the house. One of the

bodyguards immediately seized her, and before she could fully comprehend what was happening, Anne slapped her across the

face and hissed, “Whore!”

The lady tumbled to the ground, then she got up again and screamed frantically, “My children! Give my children back to me!”

Anne wanted to slap her again, but before she could do so, a shirtless Ron emerged out of the

house.

“You crazy woman, what are you doing?!” He shoved Anne away.

If not for the surrounding bodyguards holding Anne steady, she would have fallen to the ground.

The ex-secretary threw herself at Ron and cried out desperately, “Ron, you have to save our kids!”

Ron put his arms around her protectively and stared Anne down. “Tell them to let go of Timothy

and Diana!”

Timothy and Diana were the pair of twins he had with his secretary.

Anne’s fury was biblical. It seemed like spouts of flame were going to burst out of her eyes at any given moment. Sherry could

feel her rage even from inside the car.

Anne trembled with rage as she jabbed her finger at Ron and unleashed everything she wanted to say, “Ron, you ungrateful

swine! I’ve been married to you for so many years. | let you into the Sager Corporation so you could have all the fame and

wealth you ever wanted. | even took care of your family! As if cheating on me wasn’t enough, you went and fathered a pair of

twins with this wretched woman and think | wouldn't find out! You’ve been hiding them here all these years! How dare you call

yourself a man?!”

After her frenzied outburst, she threw herself on Ron and his mistress. She was completely hysterical and was clawing, slapping,

and hitting them as hard as she could.

Meanwhile, the mistress was crying.

Ron’s face was covered with scratches in an instate, blood seeping out of his fresh wounds. In a fit of rage, he kicked Anne as

hard as he could.

Thump!

Anne Sager was sent flying away.

Sherry grima upon seeing this and tried to get out of the car to rush to her defense.

However, Lisa immediately stopped her from doing so.

Although Lisa had her problems with Anne, she was just as enraged by Ron’s inexcusable behavior. Despite that, she reassured

Sherry, “Don’t worry, she will be fine.”
