Chapter 651
Mr. Neal, Mrs. Neal’s Gone With The Money
Chapter 651
The following conversions mostly revolved around Matthewâs childhood.
Tracy truly regarded Cynthia as her daughterâinâlaw and eagerly shared various interesting stories
about Matthew. She also inquired about how they met, and Cynthia did not hide anything
When Tracy learned that Cynthia had been a teammate of Matthewâs, she immediately felt sorry for
her. âMy poor baby⦠Matt is tough when it comes to training. You must have gone through a lot under
his hands. â
âItâs alright. His strict training was for our own good.â Cynthia assured the concerned Tracy
âYou canât bully Cyn anymore, got it? Tracy reminded Matthew.
Matthew enjoyed this, and he nodded with a smile. âGot it.â
âLetâs eat first,â Tracy urged as she held Cynthiaâs hand, showing her affection. âI wasnât sure what you
liked. When I asked Matt, he said you werenât picky, so I made various dishes â
âThank you,â Cynthia responded.
During the meal, Cynthia sat next to Tracy and Matthew. At first, everyone was just eating and enjoying
the food. Tracy warmly interacted with Cynthia, introducing each dish.
However, as the meal progressed, Tracy kept giving Matthew meaningful looks, but he missed them
entirely. Finally, Tracy gave up and sald, âMatt, why donât you serve some dishes to Cyn? There are
some she canât reach.â
âSure.â Matthew nodded.
Throughout the meal, Cynthia was constantly being fed by Matthew. Fortunately, he did not feed her
too quickly, allowing her to finish each bite before bringing the next dish Although she tried to resist, it
had no effect. After all, Matthew informed her that he would get scolded if he went against Tracyâs
orders.
Cynthia did not suspect anything as he was their captain, and no one would suspect him of lying. After
lunch, they brought out some fruits for dessert, and just as they were about to start another round of
chatting, Matthew walked over tastand beside Cynthia and said to them, âYou two should take a nap
after lunch. Iâll take Cynthia backâ
âArenât you staying for dinner?â Tracy was surprised. âIt would be better to have dinner together before
going back. You can go back after the New Yearâs Eve dinner taironow tooâ
Matthew came closer and whispered, âMom, didnât we agree just to have lunch?!
Tracy remained silent.
She was just reluctant to let Cynthia leave sa early as she thought they had not spent enough time
together.
âWeâll take our leave then.â Matthew held Cynthiaâs hand and said their goodbyes.
Cynthia also bid farewell politely, âGoodbye, uncle and auntie.â
Tracy and Hank were left stunned, and even after Matthew and Cynthiaâs figures disappeared at the
door, they still had not fully processed what had just happened.
Hank was still holding a teapot, confused as he asked, âTheyâre leaving already?â
âSo soon?
âYeahâ
âTheyâre gone!â
âYeahâ
âDid you give them the gifts?â Hank suddenly asked.
Tracy was also puzzled and blinked her eyes. âYou prepared it, but I donât think you gave it to me.â
