Y/N
I walked back into the house after Spencer blew up on Olivia and Layla while everyone was still outside. "Hey" I started off watching him clean up in the kitchen. "Y/N when I say I love you I" he started off clearly still upset which made him pause "I seriously mean that shit" he expressed as I faintly smiled. "I love you too spencer" I honestly admitted. "But as much as I hate to say this, you should've never put them especially Olivia on the spot like that" I admitted as he rolled his eyes some.
"Yeah but why does she get to sit there and embarrass you like that in front of everyone?" Spencer asked as I shook my head.
"Well for one we did sleep together in Vegas which is no one else's business but everyone knows Olivia needs help" I explained. "Babe I don't care if she needs help anymore she's being down right disrespectful and I'm tired and I know for a fact you ain't fine" he explained as I nodded.
"You right because I really want to beat her and Layla's ass" I admitted as Spencer and I just looked at each other and shared a laugh. I just walked over to Spencer and wrapped my arms around his neck. "You want to just leave and go get a hotel for the night?" He asked wrapping his arms around my waist and right before I was about to answer his question we heard jordan and Olivia arguing which grew louder and louder as they closer to the door.
"Really Olivia?!" Jordan asked "Jordan leave me alone" that's our cousin" he added as I just looked up at Spencer and he looked down at me before we just sighed some and took out arms away from each other. "Okay I don't understand how her being my cousin has anything to do with this situation. It's always my fault but she gets to do the things she's does and yet no one's complaining about me being her cousin when she does this bull shit to me" We overheard her say as the door swung open.
"Olivia you literally gave her hell for an entire year" Jordan brought up as Olivia walked in "whatever Jordan" she simply said with her face a little flushed. "So what now you two are a thing?" Olivia asked looking over at us as I just rolled my eyes and shook my head to myself. "Olivia don't bring that bull shit in here" Spencer started off. "I'm just trying to make it make sense. Y/N you literally slept with him in Vegas while knowing I was trying to get back with him what kind of skank shit is that?" Olivia asked.
"Tread lightly on what you about to say next" I warned "No I'm not because you're wrong as fuck do you really think he's even going to stay with you all the way into the NFL?!" She asked. "Hell or even in college football because from what it looks like you're just giving him ass and convenience" she expressed.
"Olivia you need help" Spencer said to her in disbelief. "No why don't you think this relationship wouldn't last until college or him being in the NFL?" I questioned. "Because look at you. You're a broke black girl from the ghetto who recently just came into some money that's not a prize" she said with a shrug.
"And you are?" I asked confused "Most black men don't stay with black women and if they do they're dropped literally when their NFL career starts" he said as I squinted my eyes "Olivia really?". "So if he was with you, what makes you exception?" I asked. "Oh because you're the socially accepted black girl?" I questioned. "And what is that supposed to mean?" Olivia asked. "Exactly what the fuck it means. let's not be stupid now, you know what you implied by saying What you just said" I said crossing my arms looking at her.
"Well You're not about to make me feel bad that I'm a fully black girl, who is dark skinned, who doesn't look anything like you, who wasn't raised like you, who didn't have everything given to me like you did and who didn't have the same access to things that put you ahead" I started off. "Don't start, it is not always the system" she interrupted. "No it's damn sure not always the system" I agreed. "And we're proving everyday with moving out of our environments that it isn't. Hell people who are in the hood prove everyday it's not always the system" Spencer joined in as Olivia looked between us.
"I may come from the hood or the "ghetto" as you would put it but most of everyone in the hood isn't ghetto they're just trying to make it but it's people like you who put that stereotype on them." I said as she rolled her eyes. "And I might be "broke" but guess what? unlike you the money I am seeing NOW didn't make me. being broke did, bitch" I simply said before walking out of the kitchen going to get my bags from out the room they were in.
"Sheesh" I heard behind me as I seen Spencer walk in making me crack a smile. "The whole "bitch" thing was too much?" I asked as he grabbed his bag. "Nah that was better than you placing your hands on her" he admitted as I agreed. "Yeah because at this rate I'm going to get arrested" I started off "alright mike Tyson" he joked grabbing my duffle bag as I laughed some.
We started heading out the room as everyone was back inside. "Wait. Where you guys going?" Asher asked taking the soda can from his lips. "yeah, we heading out" Spencer informed holding his hand out for mine as I grabbed it. "Olivia and Layla" Spencer called as Olivia looked at us with her arms crossed in front of her while Layla stood next to her and looked at us.
"Everything that I said goes into effect now. I won't hesitate to do it either" he said in all seriousness looking between Olivia and Layla. "Come on" he said to me as we walked out the cabin. Spencer placed our things in the backseat as he opened the door for me to get in. "Thank you" I thanked getting inside as he closed the door and I placed my seatbelt on. He then got into the car and started it up as there was a moment of silence.
"Want a blizzard?" He asked looking over at me as I laughed some. "Yeah" I agreed as he pulled off. "Olivia is-"Â I started off then just shook my head not finding the words to use. "What She said Don't take it to heart yes when it comes to the NFL and the NBA you see black men with women who aren't black but she failed to throw out there that there's still black couples in both the NFL and the NBA" Spencer explained looking at the road..
"Yeah but I know what she was implying about me and it's like damn I can't even break my own stereotype with my own people" I started off. "Sometimes I do feel outside the bubble because I am a black dark skinned girl at Beverly" I admitted. "And the crazy thing about it all is I'm a very nice and outgoing girl" I started off as Spencer just looked over at me. "Not with you calling Olivia a bitch" Spencer joked as I playfully hit him. "Spencer I'm being for real" I said through a small laugh as he grabbed my hand.
"I know baby. You know damn well you're not ghetto or the stereotype in fact sometimes I wonder are you really from the suburbs" he joked as I just shook my head and playfully rolled my eyes. "I'm going to let coach know about Olivia too" Spencer informed as I looked over him. "She needs help" I said as he agreed and I looked down. "I want to say sorry for earlier I should've never took what you said out of context earlier and go off like that" I apologized.
"No I'm sorry I honestly love you and I didn't mean any of it like that Im just tired we have been waiting for a year to get with each other and it seems like something or someone is getting in the way" He started off. "I love you so much" he said with so much sincerity in his voice. I faintly smiled as he kissed my hand That he was holding as I smiled harder.
"I love you too" I honestly meant making him smile. "So much for a chill weekend away" Spencer said as I just smiled "yeah I preferred this though I know it was ruined but it showed me something important and I appreciate it so much" I admitted with a small smile. "What was it?" Spencer asked looking between me and the road. "Nothing it's between me and God" I said with a big smile as he looked over at me and smiled before looking back at the road.
I started hearing the beginning to "Check up On it" by Beyoncé. "Ooo yonce" I said hearing Spencer sigh "oh my Gosh!" He expressed as I turned it up beginning to sing while looking at him.
