Chen Xiuqi brought back the medicine that was prepared early on and saw only Zhang Guifang in the office. He asked, “Auntie, where’s Yaya?”

Zhang Guifang looked up from her files and said, “She went to the bathroom.”

Chen Xiuqi put down the medicine and sat down on the stool at the side, waiting for her.

Zhang Guifang said to him, “I think your relationship has improved. When I first saw you bring her home, you were just married then, and you weren’t as close as you are now. I can feel at ease when I see the two of you like this. I keep thinking you were still young like you were before, it’s hard to believe you’re married now.”
