CH 6
Dressed as a Stand-in for the White Moonlight
The man was obviously angry, and the object of his anger was Su Yuli.
Wen Jin and Yang Shuo have known each other since junior high school. They were admitted to the same high school and later to the same university. The friendship between the two is very enviable.
As for why his best friend didnât show up at Wen Jinâs wedding, it was because Yang Shuo didnât like Lin Suiyan.
Yang Shuo felt that Lin Suiyan had a deep and scheming heart, and he must have another purpose in approaching Wen Jin. He didnât want Wen Jin and Lin Suiyan to be together.
He had to admit that Yang Shuoâs eyesight was very accurate. However, Wen Jin had fallen in love and was deeply entangled and unwilling to come out.  So he hadnât taken Yang Shuoâs words to heart at all.
Wen Jin and Yang Shuo had come into conflict because of Lin Suiyan, and every conversation they had would end in an argument. When Yang Shuo learned that Wen Jin was going to marry Lin Suiyan, the two had a big fight.
Yang Shuo rejected Wen Jinâs invitation and didnât even go to Wen Jinâs wedding.
Yang Shuoâs methods may seem a bit ruthless, but in fact that was just on the surface. It was mentioned later in the book that Yang Shuo went to see Lin Suiyan the day before their wedding.
He warned Lin Suiyan to treat Wen Jin well. If he dared to deceive him and lie to Wen Jin, he would make sure Lin Suiyan was humiliated.
Unfortunately, Yang Shuo had just turned 20 years old, which was the age to study in school. Lin Suiyan only regarded him as a young boy, so how could he take his words to heart.
Yang Shuo is a person with a hard mouth and a soft heart. He was always shouting for Wen Jin to break up with Lin Suiyan and saying that he wouldnât care about Wen Jinâs affairs. But he frequently helped Wen Jin and took care of him when he was in trouble.
Su Yuli liked people with an honest temperament. So Yang Shuoâs temperament was very appealing to him. He has now transmigrated into this book and became Wen Jin. Yang Shuo is naturally his friend. He doesnât want to be as alienated from Yang Shuo as in the book.
He also knew that Yang Shuo cared about his friend very much. In that case, why did they separate over a scumbag?
With this in mind, Su Yuli walked over to the last row with his snack bag.
It was written in the book that Yang Shuo loved sports and morning exercise but he never remembered to eat breakfast. When he was at school most of his breakfast was brought to him by Wen Jin.
Yang Shuo glanced at the milk and food in front of him, snorted coldly, and turned his back on Su Yuli.
Su Yuli gently pushed Yang Shuo again, with a bright smile on his face: âBrother Shuo, why are you ignoring me? Talk to me.â
Everyone said that you shouldnât hit a smiling person. And when Su Yuli looked like this , it was hard for Yang Shuo to ignore him.
That would make him look mean.
However, Yang Shuo was still unhappy. He said coldly: âYou just had your wedding yesterday but you still came to class today. You didnât even have a honeymoon? This surnamed Linâs true face was exposed really quickly.â
He had to admit Yang Shuo really hit the nail on the head. All Lin Suiyan needed was a stand-in. Â Now with the wedding completed his plan was more than half completed. There was really no need for him to be too concerned about Wen Jin.
However, Yang Shuoâs tone sounded a little sour.
If Su Yuli hadnât read the whole book, he would have thought that Yang Shuo was interested in Wen Jin, but he really wasnât. Yang Shuo was half a year older than Wen Jin, and he treated him like a brother and a friend.
Su Yuâs smile remained the same: âNo, I wanted to come to class myself. I am a student after all. I should study hard and serve the motherland.â
Yang Shuo hummed, âYou donât have to make excuses for himâ¦â
Su Yuli continued to take care of himself: âThe most important point is that I didnât see you at the wedding yesterday. Iâve been thinking about you and wanted to see you today. I came in a hurry. I didnât eat breakfast and now my stomach is grumbling from hunger.â
He almost wrote the words âpity meâ on his face. Yang Shuo finally turned to look at Su Yuli, and then scolded: âYour blood sugar is low but you still didnât eat breakfast. Is that Lin a fool that he canât even watch out for you!â
Although he sounded furious, as soon as Su Yuli heard his words, he understood that Yang Shuo was still worried about him.
Yang Shuo took the milk and snacks over to Su Yuâs, and said with a bad face: âEat it quickly.â
Yang Shuo was finally willing to take care of him. Su Yuli unscrewed the bottle of milk with a smile. He had breakfast, but he couldnât eat anything else, but it was nothing to drink a glass of milk.
Yang Shuo stared at Su Yuli eating, and said with a bad look on his face: âIf that surnamed Lin treats you badly then you tell me about it. This uncle will beat him to death for you.â
Su Yuli nodded and offered an idea âOkay, if he really dares to disappoint me, then weâll find an alley and beat him up in a sack.â
Yang Shuo raised his head and said proudly, âIf this uncle wants to teach others, then they will be beaten openly and honestly. Thereâs no need to play tricks secretly.
Yang Shuo had a powerful background. Although the main force of his family was in City B, Yang Shuo was physically strong. He had learned martial arts since he was a child and was pretty smart so heâd always been able to walk unafraid.
Su Yuli coaxed Yang Shuo to calm down.
While they were chatting, Yang Shuo suddenly stood up. Su Yuli looked up and said, âClass is about to start, where are you going?â
Yang Shuo said, âGotta pee.â Then he asked Su Yuli, âYou want to go together?â
Going to the toilet together is a good opportunity to strengthen their brotherhood. Especially since they had just reconciled. Su Yuli naturally wanted to pursue this opportunity so he immediately got up and said, âOkay, letâs go together.â
Yang Shuo had just said it casually and hadnât really expected Su Yuli would want to go with him. He didnât know what to say at the moment so he put on a cool face with no expression and went out of the classroom.
The bathroom was some distance away from their classroom.
Su Yuli and Yang Shuo walked side by side down the hallway. Just as they reached the bathroom door they heard a bitter male voice coming from inside: âHey, that Wen Jin, is usually just pretending to be all virtuous and pure. Isnât he just trying to seduce Lin Suiyan to climb up? City A is so full of rich families, so what can he do even if he flatters the Lin family? Can he step on my head?
Su Yuli and Yang Shuo stopped at the same time.
Su Yuli peered through the door and saw three boys smoking in the bathroom. The one who just spoke was a boy wearing white designer sportswear.
He didnât expect to hear people talking about him behind his back in the bathroom. Â Su Yuli thought to himself, could this be the treatment of the legendary protagonist?
Su Yuli is naturally not afraid of trouble, but he canât be getting into trouble all the time. What about the protagonistâs standard gold finger? Just give him one.
Another tall, thin boy with glasses in the bathroom said, âBrother Zhao, donât be angry. Wen Jin is nothing. He comes from a small family, Lin Suiyan definitely only treats him as a plaything. Look, Wen Jin just got married yesterday, and then he came to class early this morning. I donât think the Lin familyâs crown prince is so interested in him.â
Crown prince? Su Yuli asked himself what the hell is that name? Then isnât he the Crown Princess? This title is not domineering at all. Lin Suiyan is now clearly the person in charge of the Lin family, and has already âascended the throneâ, okay?
Besides, the title of âCrown Princessâ Substituteâ is far less impressive than âThe Tyrant Substitute Queenâ.
Su Yuli shook his head, throwing these messy thoughts out of his mind. He looked at the three people in the bathroom, and suddenly thought something. What had the man in glasses called the man in sportswear just now?
Thatâs right, Brother Zhao.
Brother Zhao, Brother Zhao. Su Yuliâs eyes lit up and he remembered.
There is indeed such a character in âSubstituteâ, the boyâs name is Zhao⦠Whatâs his name? Zhaoâ¦?
Forget it, he canât remember it clearly. Anyway, he was an inconspicuous little cannon fodder. Letâs call him Cannon Fodder Zhao for now. Su Yuli happily decided on the personâs name.
This Cannon Fodder Zhao has a good family and often goes to cocktail parties. He had once met Lin Suiyan at one. He was deceived by Lin Suiyanâs appearance, and thought of him as a male god. Ever since then he had fallen into a painful unrequited love.
Sadly, Lin Suiyan had never seen this Cannon Fodder Zhao with his own eyes, let alone remembered that there was such a person.
Cannon Fodder Zhao and Wen Jin are university classmates. Cannon Fodder Zhao privately pursued Lin Suiyan and had run into a wall again and again â no, he didnât even have a chance to talk to Lin Suiyan at all. Cannon Fodder Zhao was suffering and he hadnât wanted Lin Suiyan to start a high-profile pursuit of Wen Jin.
Not even mentioning the flowers and gifts but he even personally picked him up and sent him to school every day. Cannon Fodder Zhao felt that his male god was obviously cold to others, but he gave all his tenderness to Wen Jin.
Why Wen Jin!
Unforgivable!
In addition, the Zhao family and the Wen family were originally business rivals. In the past few years, Wen Qi took over the Wen family and gradually surpassed the Zhao family. Cannon Fodder Zhao has long disliked Wen Jin, but now because of Lin Suiyan , Cannon Fodder Zhao completely hated Wen Jin.
Su Yuli remembered that this person made trouble for Wen Jin at school, and later was used to trick Wen Jin into going to a bar, where heâd almost gotten caught.1
After sorting out the life of Cannon Fodder Zhao, Su Yuli felt a little itchy and he wanted to hit someone.
He narrowed his eyes and looked as Cannon Fodder Zhaoâs small body. He tutted in his mind. He looked like a person who was addicted to playing video games and didnât like sports. It wasnât interesting to beat such a small cannon fodder.
However, ever since Su Yuli had transmigrated here into this pitiful and miserable protagonist heâd been holding back his feelings. And now someone had sent themself to the door to vent his anger on. What a pleasant surprise.
After all, as a good young man in the new era, he canât beat people for no reason. No, there must always be a reason.
Yang Shuoâs face turned cold when he heard those short-sighted people talk about his good friend like this. He can speak of Wen Jin and mock Wen Jin, but he hopes Wen Jin can be happy more than anyone else. Who are these people?
Yang Shuo clenched his fists, but before he could rush in and beat them up, he saw the person with him kick open the bathroom door, and then rush in.
Yang Shuo was startled and raised his hand to stop him, but Su Yuli was too fast to be stopped.
By the time Yang Shuo had reacted, Su Yuli had already slid into the bathroom, and the milk in his hand had impartially splashed all over the three people inside.
