Adams P.O.V

Regina had tried many ways to try and find Selena’s location all of them were a dead end. I slammed my hand into the wall with frustration.

“Fucking hell Regina try harder”

“I’m trying the best I can so stop fucking shouting at me” Regina threw whatever she had in her hands and stormed up the stairs.

“Relax Adam, you being on edge with a bad temper won’t be doing Selena any good” Giselle rested her hand on my shoulder as I sighed.

“She’s hurt Giselle and there’s nothing I can do right now to save her. I am her mate I am supposed to protect her” I was angry at myself, I failed to keep my promise to protect her.

I was pulled out of my thoughts when my phone ringed.

“Whats up Xavier”

“Well I’m going to visit the witch and was wondering if you would like to come”

“Yeah I’ll come along, we’ve hit a dead end here we’ve been trying all night for her location but found nothing”

“Don’t worry Adam, I’m sure the witch will have a solution”

We stepped outside the car and the place brought back memories of the first time we had visited the witch.

However this time the atmosphere was different, the air was eerie and it felt like as if were trying to suffocate us.

Xavier banged the door and moments later the witch answered the door. She greeted us as we walked into her house.

“Thank you once again for helping us” She gave me a smile.

“Its nothing Prince Adam, it’s the least I could do” We sat on her table as she lit the candles with her magic.

“We can start of by doing a locator spell with one of her personal belongings”

“We’ve already tried that and hit a dead end. My witch tried that spell a thousands times last night” I shouted at the witch losing my patience.

“Well it won’t hurt to try another time, maybe she did the spell wrong”

“She didn’t, she had said that some cloak spell has been used to hide her” The witch rolled her eyes at me.

“You have to be very powerful to use a cloak spell to disappear someone off a map. Something is telling me that ‘your witch’ didn’t really try”

“I always knew Regina was manipulative and cunning but stooping this low is new” My head turned to see Xavier fuming with anger. I tried not to believe that Regina fooled me but it was becoming more obvious due to her suspicious behaviour.

“Do you have any of her belongings” I pulled out the same bracelet that I gave to Regina. I prayed in my heart that Regina didn’t deceive me because if she had, she certainly had signed her own death.

The witch took the bracelet from my hand and placed it on the plain sheet like the one Regina had. She closed her eyes and recited the spell, as she did the paper started to get lines on it and it shocked me. It formed a map. The witch opened her eyes and looked at me.

“That fucking bitch” Regina was going to get it, I’m done with all her bullshit and this had finally done it for me.

We all looked down at the map and a little light started to move along the map. I looked at the witch feeling confused.

“The place in which Selena was held captive she had escaped and I have a feeling her captive is dead since I am getting vibes of death. She is heading towards the maze forest. Which means the final battle has started”

“The witch that you used is also involved within the disappearing of our mate Prince Adam, there was remnants of her magic there and it is dark magic just like her father’s.”

My blood boiled knowing that Regina was part of Selena’s disappearance.

“I’m going to fucking kill Regina, she’s going to suffer and slow and painful death” I got up and walked out of the witch’s house. All I could feel was the urge to murder Regina, Colton had already been killed by Selena and it brought me some relief knowing that she had killed the monster that hurt her so much.

“Calm down man” Xavier came behind me and I turned around.

“Don’t fucking tell me to calm down, that bitch knew where Selena was all along and I trusted her to help us. I’m going to kill her the second we get back”

“You can’t fucking kill her, if she is involved in her disappearance we are going to need her. God knows who else is a snake amongst us. We need a plan to prepare for the final battle because Draco isn’t going down with a one on one fight”

Selena’s P.O.V.

I walked out off the room only to see darkness. I used my magic to illuminate the place up and when it did I only saw long hallways. Colton had chosen the perfect place to keep me because getting out of here will be a mission.

I walked around opening doors only for the to lead a stupid wall of concrete I mean whoever built this place clearly didn’t want their victims to escape. I screamed in frustration and raised my hands, I looked around to see all the doors slam open.

I turned around and saw one door that had a staircase. I quickly walked towards it and looked up the staircase it led to a dark room. I climbed up it without any hestitation. It may be a stupid move but I was taking my chances. I walked up the creaky stairs once I reached the top I looked aorund and saw a window.

I walked towards it and saw that the ground was above the window which meant this place was underground. I groaned as I looked around for a way out. My only way out was to break the stupid window and go out. I was not going to waste my time looking for a door. I found poles lying around and I got one to smash the window.

I stepped on the little shelf that was at the bottom of the window. I pulled my body up and crawled through the tiny window. I just about managed to squeeze through. The remaining glass had manages to cut me but I wasnt going to let small cuts stop me.

“Ahhhh” I crawled out of the window and laid on my back. I looked up at the sky seeing that the sun was setting.

I took a deep breath, breathing in the fresh air.

I was finally free.
