Going Home

Selena’s POV

Today is the last day of our month vacation which means tommrrow is school. It went pretty fast I must admit. I was pretty much done with my packing. Now that I had new clothes I had to throw out my old ones. It broke my heart to throw out my things but it had to be done.

“Guys come on hurry up we are going to be late for lunch.” Jade was shouting from down the stairs. We are all supposed to go out to eat before heading for the road.

“I’M COMING” Chloe shouted back in the scariest voice ever.

I walked down the stairs and saw Jade and Giselle waiting.

“Chloe I swear down we are leaving without you” Jade was literally fuming. Yup she was hungry.

After a few moments Chloe came down the stairs with a hat on her head.

“You see this ugly hat,” Chloe pointed at her head and then took it off. All of us were left shocked.

“This is what happens when you rush me. I only straightened half my head” she looked mad and put her hat back on.

“Whatever diva lets leave”

We all left to go to the car and I turned around one more time to see the house.

“Goodbye”.

We all were meeting up with Jesse and his other friends. Seriously what is wrong with me I thought he was cute but did I lead him on. I never meant to I only saw him as a friend that too someone I just met.

We all walked into the restaurant and saw that they were already there. Everyone took their seats and I sat between Jesse and Jade.

“Hey” Jesse greeted me as I sat down.

“Hi, how are you”

“I’m good, what about you?”

“I’m good just sad that were are leaving”

“You don’t have to leave, could always stay here...with me” He winked at me and I hit his shoulder.

“Your never going to change”

We both laughed and we all carried on talking to each other and enjoyed the food. It was weird how I only knew my friends and Jesse on this table. But tommrrow I’m going to see all my friends.

After we ate we all walked out towards the cars. I was walking at the back alone while everyone was messing around walking together.

“So we are off and thank you Chris for the lunch it was fun” Chloe blushed and let me tell you I can tell this girl has fallen for him hard.

“My pleasure...” They carried on talking as I zoned out.

“What are you daydreaming about” Jesse nudged my shoulder.

“Nothing much, just thinking about how hard Chloe has fallen for Chris” I laughed and so did Jesse.

“Yeah, that guy is whipped. I just wanted to say that I’m sorry that I tried to kiss you. We just met a month ago and I shouldn’t have.”

“Jesse honestly its ok. I just don’t want things to get awkward because even though I hate to say this but your fun to be around” He laughed and gave me a cute smile.

“Things aren’t going to be awkward, well I hope not because I really wanted your number so we could still stay in contact” We both exchanged numbers and then it was time to go.

Jesse hugged me and it took me a while to register it but I hugged him back.

“Bye beautiful”

“Bye Jesse”

We all said our goodbyes and headed for the road.

“I don’t know about you guys but I’m going to miss our little vacation.” Giselle spoke to us as she drove the car. Her and Chloe were at the front.

“Me too. It was great to get away from reality for a while” Jade spoke from beside.

I was laying down with my head in Jade’s lap just thinking about tommrrow. How will my friends and brothers react to me. Will anyone think it’s weird that I changed. I was pulled out of my thoughts when I heard the girls arguing.

“No fuck you I want to listen to Ariana Grande. Giselle don’t touch it I’m listening to this.” They both kept changing the song back and forth. Literally they were slapping each others hands.

“You guys stop it you’ll break it, just take turns and Giselle eyes on the road.” I had to interupt them but did they listen no, they carried on fighting.

*BOOM* The music thingy whatever you called it blew up. Great.

“Now look what you did Chloe you broke it.” These two will never change. They kept bickering and blaming it on each other.

“WILL YOU TWO GIVE A FUCKING REST. SHUT YOUR MOUTH I’M TRYING SLEEEP” Damn Jade nearly made me deaf. Someone is grumpy.

All three started fighting so I stuck my headphones and closed my eyes. Preparing myself for tommrrow. Slowly I let sleep take over me.

I felt someone shake me around and I ignored them by turning the other way.

“Wake up Lena we are home” wait what ?

I got up and rubbed my eyes, I looked around to see that we were parked outside my house.

“When did we reach”

“We reach about half an hour ago. We made a lot of stops a long the way and you slept through all of them.” That explains why it’s so dark.

“What time is it and where are the girls”

“Its 1:00am and I dropped them off a while ago.” Woah.

I got out of the car and Giselle gave me my luggage. I hugged her to say goodbye.

“Good luck with tommrrow girl, I know you’ll slay. Just remember that its just an appearance it doesn’t have to change who you are.”

“Thank you Giselle. I just hope that things go well, that I can let go off my past once and for all. I’m so thankful for you as a friend”

“No worries, I’m always here for you and I’m glad that we are friends too.”

I waved bye to her and walked towards my house. I opened the door and saw that all the house lights were off. The boys were all asleep, so I carefully went up the stairs making no noise. I went into my room and locked the door.

I got changed into my PJ’S and sorted out my outfit for tommrrow. I heard my phone and saw a text from Chloe.

Chloe: Just so we are clear tommrrow I’m getting you ready for school.

Selena: Lol Ok. But don’t wake me up too early.

Chloe: I’ll be there early because we need you to look perfect for the first day back.

Selena: So nervous for tommrrow.

Chloe: Don’t be you’ll do just fine.

Selena: I hope so. Goodnight xxx

Chloe: Night xxx

I put my phone away and went to close my curtains. Through my window I saw that Adams window was open. He had his back towards me. As I was looking he turned around and I quickly closed my curtains. My heart was beating so fast, why did I get like that.

Something about him every time it pulls me towards him. He is trouble and I can tell that is dangerous. But then why am I drawn to him.

I shouldn’t be. He has a girlfriend and I should let me little crush on him develop because I don’t want to get myself hurt again or even hurt his girlfriend because I know what it feels like to be on the other side.
