“Mom, do you think I’m a piglet?” Liuli teased, reflecting on how she had sneaked out in the afternoon and hadn’t slept at all.

She made her way towards Grandma’s room, knocking lightly on the door before pushing it open.

“Liuli, come and have a seat!” Grandma looked up and greeted Liuli with a warm smile.

“Grandma, what are you busy with?” Liuli inquired.

“Oh, nothing much, just organizing the things you’ll be taking tomorrow,” Grandma replied.

“Grandma, I’m getting married tomorrow. Will you miss me?” Liuli playfully asked.

“Of course, my dear, but girls have to get married,” Grandma lamented.

“Well, actually, I could have Mr. Tang come here too!” Liuli suggested, a mischievous smile on her face.

“Who are you saying?” Grandma asked in confusion.

“Brother Jingxing!” Liuli smiled.

“You are still joking at this moment?”

Jingxing was the only son in the Tang family.

“They are doing this for our sake.” Grandma Yu smiled.

“But I am the only girl in our family!”

“How could I be married off then?!”

“Liuli, you are getting married, so you are not coming home to visit mom, dad and grandma?”
