The masked man in black waved his hand. The other two men immediately understood and dragged Ning Shan into a van.

“Let’s go!” The van immediately started and quickly drove out of the parking lot.

Over to the side of the Jiang family, Ning Yun had already changed into her dress and was putting on makeup.

“The Gu family is really generous. This dress cost more than three million. you.”

Ning Yun lowered her eyes. “I was too happy so I talked too much with Dad.”

“It’s alright. There’s still time. Let’s get in the car,” the bodyguard said.

Ning Yun got in the car and the driver drove her all the way to the hotel where the engagement party was held.

“Miss Ning, please.”

Ning Yun lifted her skirt. As soon as she entered the banquet hall, she was held by elder Mrs. Gu by the arm.

“Shanshan, you’re finally here. Have you met your father?”

“I have, Madam,” Ning Yun quickly replied.

Elder Mrs. Gu was surprised. “Don’t you usually call me grandmother? Why did you change that now that you’re getting engaged?”

Ning Yun replied with a stiff face, “Yes, grandmother. It’s possible that I’m getting engaged so I’m too nervous.”

Elder Mrs. Gu laughed out loud. “You’re already so nervous when you’re just getting engaged today. What will you do when you’re getting officially married in the future?” As they were chatting, the members of the Gu family arrived one after another.

“Why isn’t the fourth master here yet?” Ning Yun looked around anxiously. She only hoped that she could quickly complete the ceremony and settle the matter so that she could feel at ease.

Elder Mrs. Gu teased, “You can’t wait that long? Speak of the devil, look, your partner is here.”

Ning Yun looked and saw Gu Minghuai wearing a black suit with his assistant pushing the wheelchair in.

Although his legs were crippled, his face was extremely handsome.

Ning Yun’s eyes lit up and she raised the hem of her dress to welcome him.

“Fourth master, you’re finally here. I was waiting for you.” As she spoke, she helped her assistant to push the other handle of the wheelchair. “Shall we go in?”

Gu Minghuai closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He could only smell the strong fragrance of the woman’s perfume. There wasn’t any familiar fragrance of peaches.

Gu Minghuai’s gaze instantly became sharp like no other. He swept his gaze across Ning Yun’s face and his expression was extremely hard. “Where’s Ning Shan? What did you do to her?”

Ning Yun’s heart jolted greatly. Her hands began to tremble and her scalp went numb as she looked at him. “Fourth master, what are you talking about? I’m Ning Shan.”

Everyone in the Gu family looked at each other. Elder Mrs. Gu stepped forward and held Ning Yun’s arm. “Minghuai, what nonsense are you talking about, are you so happy because you are getting engaged that you are in a daze? This is obviously Shanshan!”

Gu Minghuai didn’t relax with his expression that was still cold. “She’s Ning Yun. Ning Shan has a birthmark on her arm. Let’s take a look at her arm and we’ll know if she’s real or fake.”
