Chapter 719
The Woman From Hell
He shrugged, saying somewhat nonchalantly, "I have n o plans of getting married. I want the child
she's carrying but weâre never getting married. When the child is born, Iâll give her money and
transfer him to your name."
Transfer him to my name?
Was he saying that he did not want the baby either?
I was so angry with him that I could hardly speak and simply glared viciously at him.
Tyler laughed. "A person like me isnât suitable to get married, much less raise a child."
"You're just trying to shirk responsibility!"
I took a deep breath. "Do you really want to see your child growing up in a single-parent family like
Munchkin?
"Susan is a good lady. The only reason youâre defiling her like this is that she loves you. Don't ever
wait until the day she leaves you to learn what you're truly missing out on."
He was somewhat indifferent. After taking a sip of tea, he leaned his slender body on the chair.
"She needs money, that's why it's fair that sheâs giving
me a child and I'm giving her money. If she wants anything beyond that, then that's greed."
After a pause, he continued, "I saw how well you've raised Munchkin and I believe youâll raise my
child equally well too."
"You can dream on!"
I stood up furiously. "Why should I raise your child for you when you don't even want to raise him?
Unless you donât want this child anymore, youâre to be fully responsible and take Susanâs hand in
marriage. Give the child a complete family.â
I was so angry at him that I turned around and left after saying that.
Theo came downstairs and saw how angry I was. He hurried toward me, asking worriedly, "Why are
you so angry?â
I looked at him with displeasure as well and said coldly, "None of you men out there are good."
I sat on the sofa and crossed my arms, getting angrier the more I thought about it.
Tyler, you scum!
Theo sat down beside me and asked carefully, "Are you still angry?"
I looked at him and knew that I was in the wrong. I said, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to get angry at
you."
Theo laughed and put his arms around my shoulders. "
Tyler refuses to marry Susan?"
I nodded. "If he misses out on a lady like Susan, then he'll never meet a better one than her. He
doesn't get it at all."
Theo sighed softly. "Are you mad because Tyler doesnât know how to cherish Susan or are you mad
at his obsession with you?"
I was struck dumb and looked up at him, meeting his deep and profound eyes.
After a very long time, I finally said, "He isn't obsessed with me."
I knew very well how good Tyler was to me. In the eyes of outsiders, the way he had been caring
about m e all these years seemed no different than someone with romantic feelings.
However, I knew that what he had for me was not romantic feelings. He was merely sensitive and
fragile inside. I was the only one he could trust and the only one who could walk into his heart. In
fact, his feelings for me were very complicated.
He knew that too, because otherwise, judging from his character, he would have used all means to
snatch me from Theoâs side.
Perhaps in Theo's eyes, Tyler seemed like he had romantic feelings for me. I let out a bitter chuckle,
not wanting to explain further. "I understand him very well, Theo. The feelings he has for me aren't
what you think they are. Also, I'm mad because he doesn't know how to appreciate Susan. I'm
afraid he'll lose the most important person one day only to realize the weight of his loss. He'll be in a
lot of pain then.â
After a pause, I held Theoâs hands. "Do you think I should step in?â
