Chapter 7.

3:10pm

I race upstairs with Clara and drag off the outfit I wore to school and changing into my outfit that I picked out last night. This included my dark blue skinny jeans, a plain white t-shirt and a lumberjack shirt tied around my waist.

I touch up my makeup before lugging my bag downstairs. I grab some snacks and stuff them into my handbag, whilst checking I have everything else.

"Phone, purse, room details, train tickets, phone charger, makeup?" My mum lists.

"Check, check and check!" I say before giving her a big hug.

"Have fun girls!" Jason smiles giving me a side hug. "No funny business with those diversity lads!" He adds before raising his eyebrows.

"Don't worry! There won't be." I ensure.

I quickly log into twitter and message Perri saying that we are leaving.

"Right let's go." My mum says grabbing her car keys.

I push my feet into my timberlands, not doing up my laces as I don't have time. I jog to the car and dump my overnight bag into the boot and clamber into the passenger seat. Clara climbing into the back.

"I can't believe we are going!" She squeals.

"I know! I'm excited and nervous!" I reply.

My mum drops us off at the train station just in time for our train.

"Well, have fun! And text me if you have any trouble." She says before giving me one last kiss.

We climb onto the trains and hand over our tickets. We find some spare seats and sit down in the window.

"This is it!" I say excitedly.

"I'm going to Diversity's studio!" Clara adds, the look of pure joy across her face.

A few hours later and our train pulls up to a halt at the Essex station. We grab our bags and make our way onto the platform. Clara flags down a taxi whilst I get my phone.

Dm to Perri: Just got off the train- should be there soon!😄

Within minutes I get a reply. We climb into the back of the taxi before I open in.

Dm from Perri: We are all waiting! There might be some students here, all depends on what time the class finishes. 😄😊

Dm to Perri: Okay, looking forward to finally getting there!👍😅

I lock my phone and watch the buildings pass by. A couple of times Clara hits me in excitement. I'm actually nervous- don't ask me why! Because I don't know!

20 minutes later and Clara spots the sign reading Dancework Studio.

"There it is!" Clara says in awe. "You don't know how long I've been waiting to get here."

The taxi driver pulls up outside and helps us with our bags. I pay him and pull open the door to the studio.

We walk inside and look around, taking it all in.

"Hi! So glad your finally here!" Danielle smiles. "Once again thanks for helping us at your school!"

"No problem!" Me and Clara say together.

"We are glad to be here too!" I chuckle.

"Well follow me!" Danielle ushers.

We walk through reception and down a little corridor. Me and Clara look around as we are walking, but there's too much to take him.

"Look who's arrived!" Dani says opening the door to studio 1.

We follow Dani inside and are greeted by the warm smiles of the boys. We drop our bags down and get met by many hugs from them all.

Lastly I hug Perri. His cologne drifting up my nose. Whatever he uses- it smiles good!

"So glad your here!" He says quietly into the crook of my neck.

I get filled with butterflies. Nothing I've felt before. It feels weird. Different.

"I'm happy I'm here too." I reply back.

I quickly text my mum to tell her we've arrived, so that she doesn't worry.

"So, how was you week since we last met?" Jordan asks.

"Alright, just preparing for our first exams." I explain.

"Oh yeah! Perri showed us the video of you singing! You sounded amazing!" Sam adds.

I look over to Perri who looks away embarrassed. Don't tell me he's blushing?! He can't be.

"Yeah, for me it's been dance, dance and more dance!" Clara chuckles.

"Well you'll be getting more dance here too!" Jordan says. "We thought you'd like to do our morning workshop."

"No way!" Clara beams. "It's going to be cool!"

"I don't dance." I add deflated.

"I told you, I'm going to get you dancing!" Perri chuckles.

"The thing is, Soph used to do dance up until gsce!" Clara states.

"Well then your Deffo dancing!" Jordan nods.

They get us some cans of coke and we sit around laughing and joking.

I've only been here half an hour, but already it feels like I've been here all my life.

"So, what do you want to do tonight?" Perris asks.

"Well first we need to drop our bags off at the hotel, but after that anything!" I say readjusting my laces.

"What about bowling?!" Mitch suggests.

"Bowling sounds fun!" Clara smiles.

"Bowling it is then!" Perri says clapping his hands.

Perri pulls me up off the floor and grabs hold of my bags for me.

"You don't need to do that!" I say walking quickly behind him.

"Your the guests, remember." He smirks before winking at me.

I follow him out to his car and watch him dump my bags into the boot, followed by Mitch with Clara's.

"In you get then!" Perri says opening the car door.

"Are you sure?" I ask, not wanting to take advantage.

"Yes, I'm positive- in you get. What's your hotel?"

"It's the closest premier inn to here." Clara answers.

"Cool, I'll take you and wait for you to come back out." He smiles, closing the door.

"Thankyou!" I say as he gets in the drivers side.

Perri and Mitch take us to our hotel and wait outside for us, just like he said he would. We quickly rush up to our room and dump our bags on the bed before racing back out to the car.

"Right, next stop bowling!" Perri chuckles.

It takes us 15 minutes to get to the bowling alley. We park up and head inside. Me and Perri walking together.

We spot the rest of the boys and head over to them. Ashley sets up the games whilst the rest of us grab some bowling balls.

"Can I have the bumpers up please?!" I chuckle, looking up at the screen.

"Bumpers?" Ashley laughs, changing it on the screen.

"Yeah I'm rubbish without them!" I say, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear.

"What? As bad as Jordan?!" Ike jokes.

"Hey!" Jordan calls. "I've been practicing!" He announces.

Everyone bursts out laughing. This is really fun!

We spend at least 3 hours at the bowling alley, with having a game and going on the arcade. At 8pm we decide to go and grab a McDonald's.

"Oo, it's a bit chilly." I state, shivering alittle.

"Oh here, have my jacket." Perri says, taking his off.

"No it's fine- the cars only over there. You'll be cold otherwise." I smile.

"No, have it." He insists. "I'm hard, I can take the cold!" He chuckles, draping his jacket over my shoulders.

"Thankyou!" I smile, looking into his warm, brown eyes.

"No problem." He smiles back.

We all clamber back into different cars and drive over to McDonald's.

When we arrive, the boys get spotted and stopped for photos. Perri looks over at me and mouths 'sorry'. I mouth back 'don't worry' and give him a smile.

"What do you all want? Me and Clara will go and order." I say between photos.

Clara types all the orders down on her phone and we head inside to order. About 10 minutes later, the boys stroll inside and push four tables together.

"Thanks for getting it." Ashley smiles, when we arrive at the table with two trays full of food.

"That's alright!" I chuckle, sliding into the chair next to Perri.

Clara slides next to Sam and passes my food down to me.

"So, what time does the workshop start tomorrow?" Clara asks between mouthfuls.

"11am. But you can turn up before if you want!" Jordan smiles.

"Okay cool!"

"Don't you worry! I will get you dancing." Perri says quietly to me.

"You can try! But I'm not promising anything." I say shaking my head.

We finish off in McDonald's and we get back into Perri's car. He drops us off outside our hotel.

"Thankyou!" Me and Clara say at the same time, getting out the car.

We head inside and smile to the lady on reception. We go over to the elevator and wait for the doors to open.

"I've still got Perri's jacket!" I say looking down.

"Don't worry!" Clara says, looking at the expression on my face. "You can give it to him tomorrow."

"Yeah, I'll do that!" I nod.

We open the door to our room and put all our things down. I open my bag and pull out my pyjamas and makeup bag.

I take off my makeup and change into my night clothes before climbing into bed.
