Chapter 34.
Destiny. ~ Perri Kiely.
I push back the covers and swipe the hair out of my face. I'm so glad my headache has lessened, but it's still there... You get what I mean?
"Morning." I say resting my chin on Pel's chest.
"Morning gorgeous." He smiles, kissing the end of my nose.
I smile and roll off the bed grabbing my adidas joggers and a sweatshirt, pulling it over my head.
I drag a brush through my tangled hair and add minimal makeup as we aren't really doing anything that I need to look 'nice' for.
I quickly rush into the bathroom and brush my teeth, checking myself in the mirror before jogging downstairs.
I lean over the back of the sofa and kiss Perri on the cheek before heading into the kitchen and grabbing a glass of water.
"Hey Mitch." I smile.
"Hi." He says bluntly.
"Um, where do you keep the paracetamol?" I ask, taking a sip of my water.
"Oh, they're in that draw over there." He replies, nodding to one of the draws.
"Thanks."
I pop some tablets into my mouth, take a mouthful of water and swallow them. I've never been good with taking tablets, but I'm getting better thank god.
"Right, you ready to go?" Perri asks passing me my phone.
"Yeah, let's go." I say heading towards the door and pushing my feet into my superstars and opening the door.
We slide into Pel's car and buckle up our seatbelts, pulling away from the house. We head off down the road and stop off at Starbucks to get ourselves some drinks.
"So, are you nervous?" Perri asks as we approach the motorway.
"Um, yeah I guess so. I mean I haven't spoken to them since the incident." I begin. "I just hope they leave me to get my things and don't cause any arguments."
"Yeah, well we will just be as quick as we can and then have some time to ourselves." He says focusing on the road.
"Yeah, and tomorrow I will go around town and get some job applications so I can start paying something towards the house because-"
"Soph!" He chuckles. "Honestly, you worry too much about staying with us, it's fine, promise me."
"No, no. I need to get a job anyways, then I can just slip you some money, in the process." I chuckle.
"Whatever you say." He smiles, shaking his head.

After a few hours more driving, we finally pull up on the familiar drive that I've always known.
"Ready?" Perri says, turning to face me.
"Yeah." I sigh, a abnormal amount of butterflies rising in my stomach. "Yeah, let's go."
We climb out of the car and head along the gravel, our feet crunching under us. I step forward and knock the door, stepping back next to Perri.
"Oh, Soph! We didn't expect to see you." My mum exclaims.
"Hey, I've just come to collect my clothes and stuff." I reply awkwardly.
"What? Why?!" She says shocked.
"Seriously mum!? I exclaim.
"What? Why do you need to take your things?" She asks again, confused.
"Because your boyfriend punched me in the face." I announce, brushing past her and heading up to my room.
"SOPHIA!?" My mum shouts after me.
Perri jogs up the stairs behind me and follows me into my bedroom. I slump onto my bed and rub my temples.
"Why did all this have to happen?" I say, shaking my head.
"Look, it will all work itself out." He says supportively.
I heave myself up and grab some duffel bags from underneath my freshly made bed.
"You start with the tops, I'll start will the jeans." I say, chucking him a bag.
I pulls my jeans out one by one, folding them neatly-ish and stuffing them into a bag.
"Soph, is this even a top? It looks like a piece of cloth." He states, holding up a lace bandeau.
"You wear it under loose tops." I explain, standing up. "It looks pretty."
"I will never understand you girls and your clothes." He chuckles, pushing it into the bag.
After about another half an hour, we are finished and all the bags are full. I open my bedroom door and see a little face staring up at me.
"Hey little man!" I beam, ruffling his hair.
I hug him and watch as he races back into his room. I grab some bags and carry then downstairs, Perri carrying the rest.
"Oh look what decided to turn back up." Jason says looking me up and down.
"I don't even know what my mum sees in you." I say bluntly.
"Oh really, looks like you two are cosy now, the 'perfect' couple." He smirks.
"Mate? Seriously?" Perri says. "Just leave it."
"So are you the protective boyfriend now?"
"Well yeah, since you attacked her last time she was here." Pel replies, shaking his head.
I can just see this escalating quickly, so I usher Perri out the house and place my bags into the boot of his car.
"Why did you usher me out?" He says, slightly annoyed.
"Look, I just had visions of it going the same way it went with me and I didn't want that happening." I explain.
His expression relaxes as he pulls me into a hug, resting his chin in the top of my head.
"I didn't want that happening either." He adds quietly.
We get back into the car and back away from the house. I feel a tear roll down my cheek and I quickly wipe it away.
I'm not upset about what happened anymore, I'm just upset about how my family has fallen apart so quickly.

Heyyy!ð
So this is just a filler update as I have some ideas for the next couple of parts that are happier than the resent ones ð
I've changed the appearance of Sophia, so now Pia Mia represents her because I'm loving Pia at the moment and there are many photos I could add into this book to show things e.g outfits ð
How cool is this?! You can now add photos and videos throughout the parts, not just the one at the beginning!ð I might start doing this in every part to explain things if I can't, so you all get a visual ð
Unedited- ð
Vote and comment, I love reading them ð
