Venus
"I guess, we're partners huh?" Minerva said, happily.
We were now at the rooftop where it was empty and no one could see us. I really feel bad that we couldn't meet casually because of how people think of her. Despite being called a nerd, she's actually the opposite. She's talkative, and very fun to be around. And here I thought that she's really shy and timid. I guess I'm the same as everyone else. I judged her right away without even getting to know her. But, I have to or else, I'm going to be destroyed. I don't want to go back to who I was before.
"So, you're bad at dancing?" I said, laughing genuinely.
I really shouldn't judge her. She's the reincarnation of Athena. I wouldn't be surprised if she's really good at dancing and sports, but she's actually bad at dancing. Maybe her powers haven't awoken yet or- is it possible that she's hiding who she is like me?
"Could you practice with me later? I'll visit your unit. I guess fate wanted us to be together huh?" She said with a smug, it's really refreshing to be with her.
I wonder if Mars was also like her. I must have been playing pretend for too long now. Just thinking of Mars and her, how close they were- what if they're dating? I hated that idea. I wonder if Vulcan also felt like this when I hung around with my other boyfriends. I guess I'm also just as messed up.
"Sure. I'd love that." I said with a smile and hugged her.
She's really been a friend. Maybe that's why, yes that's the reason. I've become possessive of someone who I've come to like. There's no way, I like her for real to even date her, right?
"Are you okay?" Minerva asked, with a worried tone.
"Are you dating someone?" I whispered in her ear.
At that moment, I could hear her heart pounding faster- no, it seemed like two hearts. I must have been mistaken. There's no way it could be two. I pulled away from her and saw her ears became red. Then the thought of her liking me, sent my heart to race faster.
"Let's go or we'll be late for the next class." I said as I walked away first before her.
Life has been dull ever since I've remembered. My parents were the only ones making me sane. If-if one day, I showed my true nature, would day hate me more?
After class, my friends were distant again as always. We went our way eventually after class. Vulcan's busy with another girl again. I suppose I'm going home all alone. Everyone seems happy walking home with their friends even- Minerva. She was walking home with Mars.
I should probably just ignore them. I knew I should but unknowingly, my feet walked towards them and my mouth began to move on it's own.
"Hello." I uttered the words out with my mind regretting it already.
"Let's walk home together." Mars offered.
Minerva just smiled kinda awkwardly which looked quite cute. For a moment, I felt warmth for the first time.
"You and I need to practice later." I said to Minerva.
"Ohhh. Practice what?" Mars asked, turning to Minerva and wiggling his eyebrow.
Minerva hit him at the back and cursed.
"Dancing of course dumbass." She shouted at Mars.
"I'm sorry. His- always like that." Minerva explained, her ears red.
I see. I guess it wouldn't hurt teasing her. I give out a confused look at Minerva while winking at Mars when our eyes meet. He returned my wink with a smile. I guess this will be fun.
"Sorry I didn't get what he meant." I said apologetically.
"Can you explain." I asked politely.
Minerva's face was now completely red while Mars tried to compose himself.
"I shall ex-"
Minerva kicked Mars's legs in an attempt to shut his mouth.
"So I'll stop by at your house?" Minerva asked in an attempt to sidestep the conversation.
She looked cute saying that. I guess teasing her was a great idea. I got to see her cute expression.
Mars was silently laughing so hard. I guess they really are such a pair- a pair of good friends. And personally, I don't mind being their friends.
"So now, we're going home buddies?" Mars asked.
"I suppose that's fine too." I said with a smile.
Baby steps at a time, Venus. Baby steps. This day was also fun. I can't wait for later to practice with Minerva later on.
Hold on- I'm excited. For once, I am. I smiled at myself happily as we walked home.
Minerva
"You totally suck, you know that?" Venusa said chuckling.
She seems to be smiling more now.
My eyes trail to her soft glossed lips. Oh, God. That looks delicious to- Shit. Stop this Minerva. It's just a crush and nothing more. Although I keep on battling my mind, my eyes now trail to her neck. Slender and smooth. I wonder how it feels to press my lips to those fine slender neck and her smooth soft lips.
I looked up and saw Venus smirking sexily. Shit- got caught right handed.
"Let's start with a simple dance. I'll demonstrate it to you. Then we can slowly work from there." Venus said.
It's good she didn't comment on how I was thinking about making out with her. I fear that my eyes would someday imagine her naked, walking out from a fresh shower. I shook my head as I realised what I was doing.
Stop it! I said to myself. Don't be horny. DON'T!
I can't believe I'm becoming like those men. Lusting after her.
She began to dance enthusiastically. It's hip hop after all, and made me wonder if I can actually keep up. It looks easy enough, maybe I can actually pull this off.
"Easy right?" Venus said after finishing her dance.
"Looks easy alright. Easier said than done." I said as I sighed.
"Hey hey. Don't look so sad. I'll help you out step by step." Venus said as she caressed my cheek.
I tingly electric sparks when she caressed my cheek. I felt wanting more of her touch when her hands left my face.
"Let's start with the first step."
Venus started to demonstrate the first step in mirror form so it would be easier for me to copy.
She started by doing a simple wave. Well, that's easy. Then some hand movements as she did a moved her feet to the front making a hopping movement that I couldn't follow.
"You positioned your foot wrong here let me-"
She touched my thigh and placed it northeast. Her touch made me hot. That's bad- really bad. I'm already turned on by her touch. My face flushed when she moved closer. I could smell her fragrance, similar to a vanilla scent.
"Minerva?"
"Yeah I got it. No worries."
I got caught in my own world that I forgot we're supposed to practice dancing. Venus smirked which made me confused. Why was she smirking?
"Let's continue."
After an hour of practicing, I'm getting a hang of this. I'm already getting the moves right.
When the music stopped, Venus suddenly hugged me.

She's pressed against me. It's soft, very soft. I felt my face flushed again.
This is bad. My hormones are acting up. I'm the worst.

"Oh, honey, eat more." My mom says to Venus.
Damn. This is embarrassing.
I could see the discomfort on Venus as she looked at me for help.
"Mom, stop that. Venus could get more if she's hungry. You don't have to pressure her."
"My bad." My mom says happily.
My brother is holding his laugher while my dad is suppressing his happiness. It's good that he isn't like my mom.
"Thank you for all of these Mr. and Mrs. Henceforth." Venus said with a smile.
"Oh, honey. Call us mom and dad."
Venus and my eyes widened while my brother almost choked.
What the hell is she thinking??
Venus just pretended not to hear what my mother said and we finished dinner soon after. I walked Venus towards the unit. The entire walk was silent. I better apologize to her in my mother's place.
"Venus, I'm sorry about my mother. I honestly don't know what she's thinking." I confessed.
"Mom." Venus said in a whisper.
"I don't mind it." Venus said as she flashed me a smile and went in.
I was left outside wondering what happened, and before I knew it, my face was hot as fire.
