Minerva
It's been three days since I've started playing with the guys again. It's fun and all but everyone around us still ignores us.
I was walking towards my locker when Venus bumped my shoulders hard. I guess it wasn't an accident. Still, the girls who dumped water on us are worse. She may as well have been Satan themselves.
The most surprising thing is, the guy who looked like Xavier is his brother, Luther. We heard it a while ago from Xavier who was busy admiring the girl who beat his brother.
Apparently, he's brother is better than him in many ways. Since, he really looked up to his brother, his admiration for the mystery girl grew. Unfortunately because of his daily practice, he wasn't able to join the play every afternoon.
We are now sitting on a bench. We both decided to take a day break from the park. My body's aching, I guess it's been quite long since my body has been this exhausted.
"Minerva you heard Xavier at lunch?"
"Yeah. I guess he really admired me." I said as I laughed, when suddenly my collar got lifted by Xavier.
"What the fuck are you spouting about?!" Xavier said.
"Don't fuckung mention my name again. Loser. I'll-"
"XAVIER!" A girl shouted.
Both Xavier and I were surprised by the voice of the owner, it was Venus.
"We've talked about this right?" Venus said as she placed her hand on Xavier's shoulder.
Xavier, who was angry, composed himself and threw me on the ground. He walked away. Right on time! Venus really.
"Hey, tha-"
"Don't talk casually to me." Venus said as she crossed her arms.
"Buzz off will you? You're making trouble for both of us."
"Thanks for saving me. You ought to let me finish. You're doing this for us, right? Then, we can be friends."
"If you already know, then stay out of trouble. We can never be friends. I don't befriend hopeless people." She said as she slapped the hand I offered to her and left.
"Ouch." Mars whispers.
"Buzz off." I said, irritated.
I'm not hopeless. What's up with that attitude? So she only likes people who she can use. God, I hate her. Not because she's my bully well that's partly because of it, but she looks down on me. That irritated me.
"Let's go." I said.
"Hey, chill. Wanna visit my place for a change?"
"Alright, I guess our nanny would just have to cook for tonight."
"I don't even understand you. You have a nanny yet you do the cooking."
"I like cooking. Besides, cooking with my brother would be like our bonding time. It's him who insists on assisting me." I said in my defense.
"Such a doting brother. I wonder what he would do if he knows you're being bullied. I should thank you. Since you've got their eyes all over you, they're less violent to me." He said smiling.
Gee. What a great friend I have here. I rolled my eyes.
"You should be thankful,'' I said."
We then left the school and walked to the condo of Mars, it also has the same one unit per floor similar to ours, the only difference would be that their unit was really designed magnificently.
"I'm not even surprised that you have a rotating bookshelves here." I said in awe.
It was really designed beautifully. The living room was really breathtaking with minimal designs. With one big white circular cotton like shape with a hole for the light hanging on the ceiling and two more which are smaller. There's a big rug below the couches that could apparently transform into a bed. The couches were placed in an L-form not just a straight line.
"Here's my room."
It was quite messy with posters of anime and a baseball in a cup displayed on one of his shelves. What caught my attention the most wasn't the exquisite design of his room but a manga with two girls kissing.
"What the hell is this?" I asked curiously.
"Oh that! It's my favorite genre. It's yuri. You know lesbian love?" He explained.
"I never knew you were into that." I said honestly.
"Of course. It's not like we've been friends for a year or more. Heck, it hasn't even been a few months." He said as he handed one of his manga to me.
"I'll let you borrow it. Be careful, this is precious."
"I do-"
"Just take it. Look, I'll just give it to you since I have another copy of that. Besides, my gut is telling me that you swing that way."
"Hey I don't-"
"You got a crush on Venus right?"
"Well, I kinda don't like her that much now."
"Why?"
"Mars, you're the one who's telling me she's a bitch. Now that I'm not that fond of her, you want me to like her?"
"Suit yourself. You told me that she's nice. The fact that she helped you with Xavier, I think you were right."
I stayed quiet for a while. I didn't want to admit it but-
"It's your love li-"
"She looked down on me." I said honestly, I never really cared when others did that but I didn't like her thinking of me like that.
"Shesh. And, you said you don't care if people bully you. It's the same as looking down on you." Mars said.
I didn't want to realize it but maybe I really liked her enough that I don't want to be looked down upon by her. I want her to see me, the real me.
"Dude, can't believe you really have a crush on her. Remember, she's not a slut for no reason. She has tons of boyfriends. With that look, I don't think-"
"I never said I'd court her!"
Mars smiled as if he'd won. Shit. I hate him especially when he has this smug on his face. It's like I've been caught right into a trap, and that I've been playing right on his palms.
"I never said you would." He said proudly with an even bigger smug.
Without knowing, my face felt hot.
I hope I'm not blushing.
This would be very embarrassing. Things like this never happened before.
"You're blushing!" Mars said as he laughed.
Fuck. What the freaking hell is happening to me? I can't believe Mars would tease me like this and enough to make me blush. 'Oh honey, you aren't honest with yourself.' a voice said in my head.
"I never thought it was love at first sight." Mars said, jokingly.
"Hey, I might actually just want to be friends with her." I said, crossing my arms.
"Deny all you want."
God. I hate seeing him like this. I glared at him and he laughed. We talked about many things. One is our physical education class which will start tomorrow. We hoped that it wouldn't be dancing class since we both sucked at it. At twenty minutes past five, I left his humble home and looked forward to arriving at my home.
When I got home, I asked my nanny to help me cook an extra portion for Venus, of course I never said for whom. I decided to make the most delicious meal I could make, and that is beef stroganoff and of course I even baked some of nanny's signature apple pie. I can't wait to bring this to her.
"Um. Miss. I can't believe the day has come."
"What day?" I asked, confused.
Did I miss something? There's no way it's nanny's birthday since it has already passed. My brother's birthday is Valentine's while mine is in May. Did I forget something very special? Nanny's really happy right now.
"Oh dear. It's the day you fall in love."
I felt my face blush again. What are they saying? Both Mars and her, they're teasing me. I can't believe them. I just wanted to be friends with Venus, nothing more. Besides, what is love?
"I'm not."
"Bu-"
"It's for a friend's nanny. Besides, it's a girl." I smiled as I took out a container for the food.
"I wouldn't mind if it's a girl." I heard the nanny say quietly as she helped me prepare the food.

I went inside the elevator and pressed the button that leads to the 31st floor. Smiling happily as I waited excitedly for the elevator doors to open.
*DING DONG*
I hope she'll like this. Heck, it's not like she doesn't have a nanny with her. I mean if she lives here, there's a big chance that she's freakin rich.
