Touching the cold bowl, he felt refreshed all over, it was really cool, but there were no traces of solidified oil on the surface, instead, a delicious aroma wafted out, making his stomach grumble loudly, which made Chunqin’s face turn red instantly.

Ye Muyu couldn’t help but smile gently, “Take this lunch box over there, the two small bowls contain soy sauce, vinegar, and chili oil, let Eunuch Ren add them according to his taste.”

“There’s another bowl here, you can eat it when you come back.”

“Young miss, that’s a person from Eunuch Ren’s side.” A maidservant and Miss Sun were standing at the corner of the corridor, and saw the guard taking the meal from Chunqin’s hands.

“Go find out who made it,” Sun Ning tightened her grip on the whip she was holding and hummed softly.

The maidservant didn’t even need to inquire, “It was made by Madam, it’s said that she usually lets Lord Chu take a meal out, which just needs to be heated up before eating.”

“It seems Eunuch Ren has also tasted Madam’s cooking before.”

The guard only paused for a moment, noticed who it was, and didn’t take it to heart, but went directly back to the yard.

“Eunuch,” the guard placed the lunch box down.

Eunuch Ren couldn’t wait to open the lunch box, and the guard immediately smelled a delicious aroma, which made his stomach’s cravings twist. Seeing Eunuch Ren hadn’t noticed, he didn’t go out but curiously watched the noodles.

“Hey, it’s really cold, such a cool food is so comfortable to eat in the hot weather.” Eunuch Ren also smelled the fragrant aroma, and his already a bit hungry stomach was instantly stimulated to rumble loudly.

He wasn’t too embarrassed to care about losing face and hurriedly brought the noodles out.

He discovered there were two cold dishes underneath.

Having served all the dishes, he didn’t feel that the noodles were too much, he simply picked up a chopstick and ate eagerly, “Hiss, so cold, refreshing, the flavor is too delicious, even though they are just ordinary noodles, why do they taste so extraordinary?”

The guard alongside swallowed his saliva.

“Take your own chopsticks, you can only have one bite.” Was Eunuch Ren being kind?

Of course not, he was intentionally torturing him, after one bite, one would only want more because the flavor was really exquisite.

The guard quickly found a clean pair of chopsticks, initially wanted to grab a big bite, but Eunuch Ren apparently knew his intention early on, and directly picked a little for him.

“Alright, just eat this bit,” Eunuch Ren even looked pained.

The guard grimaced, although he internally complained about Eunuch Ren being stingy, he did not disdain the small bit of noodles and picked it up to eat.
