Chapter 22
The CEO's Daring Wife
After all the fan girls had left, Mei and Ali payed for their icecream and left to head towards their new location
The whole time Mei and Ali were on their motorcycle, Ali was in a bubbly mood
She was so excited to finally be able to sign the papers that would legally make her and Mei sisters!
"Sooo . . . " the two started talking about random stuff just to talk
At least, it WAS just talking to talk at first . .
But then their conversation got a little more interesting when Ali mentioned something that was always on the back of her mind
"Mei, will we ever be able to find lovers?"
"Mhm . . . " Mei didnât respond, so Ali continued talking
"Well, I mean we ARE both beauties . . it would be easy for us to find romance, Iâm sure a lot of guys would come crawling to are knees and beg for our love . . but . . . . "
"But we canât" Mei Koi said
"Well, I know . . "
Ali took a deep breath
"I know we canât find romance . . since we are hacker Z and all . . . and we canât risk someone finding out about our identities . . . and we donât really have time to love, with our identities as hackers and all . . "
"But donât you feel lonely sometimes? Donât you also want a lover to fill that gap in your heart?? I canât be the only one who WANTS to experience romance . . tell me the truth, Mei . . donât you want romance??"
Mei paused for a moment before she said
"Fine . Say that I DO want romance . Even if I WANT romance, who could even date us? Itâs to risky to date someone who doesnât know our identities, so the only possible way for us to be able to date safely would be to date someone who already knows our identities who is trustworthy enough to keep our secret . . . that basically eliminates everyone on planet earth . . Itâs impossible for us to date, Ali"
"Not completely impossible . . " murmured Ali
Mei heard this, and said "really? Itâs not completely impossible, huh? Then tell me ONE person who qualifies . . !"
Ali thought back to earlier that day, and said
"how about that CEO guy?? Doesnât he know our identities, AND we are going to work for him soon? That will give us PLENTY of time to form some relationships . . . AND heâs filthy rich . . I mean COME ON! Heâs got good looks, good money, a good job, AND a SEXY body!! Heâs everything perfect in one package for crying out loud!!!" Ali started off by replying smugly, with a know it all attitude, but towards the end, she was so energetic and enthusiastic
"Uhmm . . . " Mei didnât know how to reply to thatn/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
âShe ACTUALLY proved ME wrong!! Oh god I already know sheâs gonna start teasing me about being wrong . . â Mei started to try and come up with a bunch of excuses until she realized something
They were about a minute away from the place that would make them official sisters!
âHah! I bet this will surely distract her from teasing me!â And with that thought, Mei koi officially launched her plan into action as she got closer to the place
"Look! I can see the building from here Ali!"
Ali instantly forgot all about how much she was going to tease Mei and instead shouted
"REALLY?? WHERE?? OH I SEE IT NOW!!!!!" Ali was practically screaming at this point, but it didnât bother Mei Koi as she thought
âHaha, plan success!! So what if sheâs screaming? Itâs way better than her nagging at me for being wrong!!"
Authors note: ahh so sorry it took so long to upload!! In school, almost every single class gave me a huge test or presentation! If a class didnât assign me any of those it gave me ALOT of homework everyday to finish which was due the next day . . the past while was really stressful for me, along with many other things like girl scouts and taeqwondo . I feel really bad because every time I went on my phone and checked how many people added this story to their library, it kept growing and growing! Before I took a break there were about 290 people who added this to their library, and now, when I checked it, it said that there were 500 people now!! I have no idea how I keep growing, but since stuff has sort of calmed down at school, I decided i NEEDED to make a chapter today, so I did! Currently at school I only have ONE major assignment due really soon, and I only have 7 pages of homework due tomorrow! I already finished like 3 pages, and Iâm about to finish the rest up now! Ahh it feels nice to relax and take a break from so much school once in a while!!
Well, anyways, Iâll try to upload again real soon, but I canât make any promises!!
