Chapter 2

1 hour after Mei Koi had fallen asleep, she was woken by her instincts .

Another main reason why Mei was the #1 hacker was because of her great instincts when danger was near .

Obviously, Mei Koi knew she could no longer stay in the Li corporation, so she contacted one of her contacts to help her plan out an escape, since after all, the police were still searching the vicinity for her .

Ding

Her contact replied to her

’Pack up your stuff, and then silently maneuver your motorcycle to one of the guest rooms . I suggest you use the guest room on the 7th floor, farthest to the left . Then abandon you motorcycle there, and put on your police disguise, and in exactly 45 minutes, exit through the side door and slowly blend in with the crowd of police officers . ’

Mei sighed to herself ’if only hacking didn’t require having to constantly be in the run and always preform strategic plans which require hard work and time . . then I might enjoy my job more . . ’

Back in the security room

"U-um boss, would you like me to anything to the hacker now?? It looks like she is planning to leave . . "

The CEO’s cold voice filled the room

"No . Leave her as is . And prepare my suit . I’m going to go after her and observe . "

’what?? The CEO himself is going to go out just to observe this person? The world must be about to end or something . . no way I’m hearing this correctly . . ’ the secretary was confused, questioning his life, when he heard his boss speak again

"What are you doing just standing there?? Hurry! She’s going to leave soon!!"

"A-ah yes sir!! Right away!" The secretary rushed to get a suit for the CEO, fearing for his life .

Meanwhile, with Mei Koi

Mei Koi rushed to the nearest bathroom, changed into police attire, put on a long blonde wig, and put in hazel contacts to disguise herself . She didn’t want anyone actually seeing her real self, even if the police had no idea what the hacker they were chasing looked like . Mei Koi didn’t want to take any risks whatsoever .

At the same time Mei Koi was getting ready, the CEO was also dressing so that he could watch this hackers actions .

’Time to go!’ Mei Koi got ready just in time to leave out the side door at the exact time her contact said to .

Mei Koi sneakily left the side door and joined in with the crowd . Even if there was only about 50 police vehicles after her in total, each vehicle had about 3 to 4 police officers, totaling to about 170 police officers after her . There were still about 140 officers surrounding the vicinity where she was last seen, so it was pretty easy to blend in with the police .

After pretending to search for about 15 minutes for the hacker, Mei koi’s instincts told her that danger was about to occur .

Sure enough, the CEO of the company she was staying at, had acted as if he just pulled into his company and noticed all the commotion

"What’s going on here??" The CEOS loud voice echoed in everyone’s ears that were present .

There was absolute silence .

Everyone in their right mind knew that the CEO hated to be apart of any commotions, and there were normally severe consequences that followed if the CEO was bothered .

"SPEAK! Someone tell me WHAT IS GOING ON!!"

Finally, someone actually had the courage to speak, even though they were nervous .

"U-Uh sorry to disturb you, CEO Tan Li . . W-Well yo-you see . . . the police are currently ch-chasing after a hacker that is rated #1 worldwide . . . The hacker had disappeared mid-chase, s-so we are searching for them . . so-sorry to disturb y-you!!"

"That’s enough . " The CEO’s voice didn’t sound annoyed, like everyone imagined it would be "Continue on . No need to explain further, BUT, I will be supervising this . "

Silence . Absolute silence . Even people watching on television had held their breaths . . Everyone knew this was not how the CEO normally behaved .

"What are you doing? Why are you not doing anything? I said I would watch, so just hurry up and continue what you were doing!" The CEOS voice broke the silence in the air, and slowly, everyone started chatting and discussing the topic at hand again .

Meanwhile, Mei Koi stood their, in the crowd, frozen

’What the heck?!?! The CEO wasn’t supposed to come back till tomorrow!! I need to hurry up and delete the Surveillance . . well I can’t really do it now so I’ll just tell one of my contacts to hurry up and do it!!’

The CEO was watching Mei Koi’s mental breakdown the whole time, and quite frankly, he was enjoying himself .

All of a sudden, the CEOS phone dinged .

His secretary had sent him a message that read ’Boss, all the surveillance of the hackers stay has been deleted, as if it was never there . It was completely wiped out without a single trace!! Do you want me to do anything about it??’

The CEO smiled to himself and replied ’No, just leave it be for now, just sit back and watch the show . . ’

’Wow . . this girl is really amazing . . she managed to completely wipe out all the data of her staying in my company, in a matter of seconds . What makes it more impressive is that I was watching her the whole time and I didn’t even see her lift a finger . What kind of skills and connections does this girl have exactly??’

This female hacker had definitely succeeded in gaining the CEOS attention, even though she didn’t mean to whatsoever . This girl was definitely amazing in many different ways . . .
