We got off his private Helicopter on an airport runway. He asked to take my hand as we walked down the stair.

"We have to meet my family. As soon as Dad arrives. We will then see how we will proceed further. "

"Do I have to marry when I am just 19?" I asked him confused. Isn't it too early for me to get married no matter how I think it?

We sat in his car as the chauffeur started to drive.

"No. You gonna complete your graduation before and after then. "

"How old are you? " I asked him. Is he the same age as Vanish?

"24," he said I was a little relieved that he is not above 25.

Do I have to marry him?

Why did my brother say that at the door yesterday?  Does he treat women badly? And if he does what does he want from me?

I probably am worthless right now.

"Why did Vimal Bhaiya say what he said yesterday?  And what about Aarav bhaiya? Vimal Bhaiya threatened you, is he going to be released?" I asked him trying to cleanse all the doubts in me.

"We drop the charges on Aarav for now because if you are to study in college we can't have a rival wandering around you, wishing to harm you. So he is quiet,"

"And what abo-" Before I could ask him for the answer at first he interrupted me.

"And that's all you need to know now. You will know about everything at the right time," he said as the car stopped in front of a long building the chauffeur opened the door and waited for me.

"We are going to have lunch at my grandfather's today like we always have every month. You are coming with me. I'll introduce them to you. As Ruby."

"I never agreed to it, " I instantly revolted as we went in the elevator he looked at me.

"I'm not asking you that if I can. I'm telling you that I will,"  he told me as I looked at him why is he so obsessed with this?

"Why do you want me to change my name?"

"I don't want any relation between those jerks and you. That was the last time you will ever have to see them. You are forever forbidden to meet those assholes again. And if I ever caught you betraying me. Then you will see the Rudram Mannan your brother was talking about." He gave me the threat to shut myself down forever from my family and be his shadow. His trophy wife.

"But it's my mom's name and it's the last thing I have of her. "

"So, what you want to announce to the world is that your father named his daughter on his mistress name. And what if someone digs more they will find your real identity-"

"Don't give that crap to me. You asked me to change my name before you knew about it," I said him cutting his words. I walked out of the elevator on the last floor, realizing very late that I was very arrogant right now. The first thing I saw in the front was the view of the entire city through the full floor-to-ceiling window.

"I won't change my name. " I again said, more hushed this time.

"You have to," he said as he went inside one of the doors leaving me alone in the living room.

"Then tell me the honest reason," I asked him walking behind him as I entered a room where he was picking out his clothes.

"You know already more than you should. And lastly. We are gonna meet my brothers today. They can never find out about you. Never. And you have to show them that you are not some delicate Jaipur flower acting like a rich rotten bitch."

"Why?"

"They want something to hurt my pride. And you can't be that something," he said as he finally picked his final suit as he threw it on his bed, and started to unbutton his shirt. I was a little surprised for a second but I focused on the space beside him not to get awkward.

"I can't do that.  I'm not like that. " I told him as he removed his shirt and put on his other shirt. And started to button it.

And since I could not take this I started to walk away after completing my words. But then a hand grabbed me as I was flung on his chest.

"Just act like you don't give a shit about anything in this world. That's all," he said to me as I was right now shocked by what he did.

I pushed him as I walked outside when I heard people inside the house. I saw the man bringing our luggage. And then I saw Suman Aunty walking in and I immediately hugged her. I was relieved.

"I thought they won't let you come. " I murmured to her. As Rudram's voice came from behind.

"We need to leave. Get her ready," he said to Sukriti as she walked inside and she nodded as some helpers in their uniforms came and gestured to move.

As we both followed her. And Suman's aunty behind her.

"Why were you both alone in the room?" Sukriti asked me shouldering me as I smacked hers.

"Where are you leaving?" Suman Aunty asked us as we walked upstairs following the woman.

"He wants me to meet his family," I told her as she came in front of me blocking me.

"This man is nice and reliable. Don't waste your chance and hold onto him. He is everything you dream of."

"I like someone else "

"It doesn't matter now. "

"It matters Aunty." I loosen my voice a little and felt guilty immediately. "How can I ignore things when he is right in front of me?"

"You have to," I heard Vanish on the stairs as he climbed above.
