Chapter 724
Trapped in Love
Chapter 724 Canât Leave Spontaneously After half an hour, the car pulled up in front of a restaurant. The bodyguard escorted Caroline to the restaurantâs second floor. He halted as they reached a private room and bid farewell, saying, âMr. Jung is inside. I shall bid my farewell, Ms. Shentonâ
Caroline replied with a smile, âThank you.â
The bodyguard departed, and a waiter offered, âIâll get the door for you, miss.
Caroline nodded, and the waiter opened the door.
Caroline spotted two individuals inside. The man appeared handsome and composed, while a calm, obedient girl with striking facial features sat beside him. She wore a pastel dress and a dusty pink scarf, with long hair flowing down her back and crystalâclear eyes. This girl seemed to be around the same age as Carolineâs children but possessed a similar calmness to Axel.
The two individuals looked up when they heard the commotion.
Caroline smiled at them and greeted, âMr. Jung.â
Zeke stood and said, âItâs a pleasure to meet you, Ms. Shenton.â
Caroline approached and shook Zekeâs hand.
Zeke explained, âI apologize for bringing my daughter along on our first meeting, Ms. Shenton. She didnât go to school today due to illness, and I wasnât comfortable leaving her at home.â
Zeke turned to the girl sitting quietly, saying, âSay hello, Shiv.â
Siobhan Jun rose and gracefully bowed to Caroline, saying, âHello, my name is Siobhan Jung.â
Listening to Siobhanâs voice, Caroline made a mental comparison. If she were to describe Lioraâs voice, it would be soft but lively. On the other hand, Siobhanâs voice was soft and gentle, and she exuded the mannerisms of a heiressâpolite and graceful.
Caroline smiled and replied, âHello, Shiv.â
Zeke suggested, âPlease take a seat, Ms. Shenton.â
âSure.â
Once they were seated, Zeke got straight to the point. âBy all accounts, Iâm supposed to meet you in Angelbay if I wish to collaborate with you, Ms. Shenton However, Iâm very sorry. My child is still attending school, and Iâm raising her alone, so I canât leave spontaneously.â
Caroline smiled and said, âItâs fine, Mr. Jung. I wonât beat about the bush, either. May I inquire what type of uniform you are looking to have customâmade?â
During their conversation, which lasted about an hour, Caroline observed that Jung was a gentleman in every way. His courtesy appeared inherent to him, not an act.
While they talked, Siobhan ate quietly and made only a slight noise when she put down her utensils. If werenât for Siobhan sitting across from her, Caroline would have thought only Zeke and herself were in the private room.
Zeke proposed, âIf youâre fine with this, please sign the agreement as soon as possible, Ms. Shenton.â
Caroline agreed, âOf course, Mr. Jung. Iâll inform the lawyer to draft the agreement when I return to the hotel later.â
Unable to resist, Caroline asked, âShiv, would you like to come and visit Angelbay? I have children about your age at home.â
Siobhan savored her food slowly, then set her cutlery down and sweetly smiled at Caroline, âThank you for your invitation, miss. However, I need to consult with my father on this matter.â
Zekeâs eyes filled with affection as he asked, âWould you like to go, Shiv?â
Siobhan nodded. âYes.â
