Evan heard Liora’s sobs as he approached the entrance.

“Why are you blaming me? He started calling me names first! I have a father!” Liora defended herself.

“You started a fight at such a young age, just like a troublemaker without a father! You even hurt my son. I won’t rest until you’re expelled from school today!” August’s mother accused.

Evan frowned upon hearing this exchange and entered the office, his tone cold as he declared, ‘I’d like to know who’s trying to get my daughter expelled from school”

The disciplinary office staff tumed their heads simultaneously, shocked by his presence.

Liora rushed to Evan, crying, “Daddy! I’m not fatherless!”

“You’re still lying! Don’t try to claim someone as your father!” August retorted with a stuffy nose.

Evan exuded a commanding presence, making August’s mother quickly cover his mouth. She trembled as she stood and stammered, “Mr… Mr. Jordan, I… I didn’t know she was your child.”

It was a rare moment when Liora acknowledged him as her father, and Evan couldn’t help but feel a touch of bitterness in his heart.

Ursula swallowed nervously. “It’s our fault for starting the fight, Mr. Jordan. I’ll discipline my son!”

The deputy head of disciplinary nudged him and then told Evan, “The child will be expelled because Merlin doesn’t tolerate students lacking basic manners like him.”
