The guests didn’t know why the bride had suddenly changed from Ye Qing to Ye Zhen, Perhaps, it was a case of mistaken identity because the two sisters were identical twins? But, could a mistake of that magnitude happen at a wedding?

They thought she was an upright and warm-hearted person that disguised her good intentions with harsh words. They thought she wasn’t the type to scheme. It was only that she was always blurting out unpleasant-sounding words and ending up offending people. To put it simply, they thought she had low EQ.

However Mother Ye had known her cousin for a long time. How could she not know what she was thinking?

If those words weren’t said out of thoughtlessness, then it had to be from malicious intent. She knew that Shen Jing was very clever. Her cousin wasn’t stupid at all.

Mother Ye was very unhappy right now. Shen Jing was right. After what happened at this wedding, her Qingqing would become a laughingstock in the eyes of others. Thus, she wasn’t in the mood to argue with Shen Jing.

“Cousin, how can you have this attitude? You’re Qingqing’s mom. How can you swallow your anger like this? No, this won’t do. If you won’t go to ask, I will. Even if you can swallow this grievance down as her mother, I can’t bear to do the same as her little aunt!”
