“Aunty Yue cooked this?”

“Mr. Lu, why are you looking so nervous? I’m just worried you’ll feel bored while eating, so I’m choosing a random topic to chat with you. Quickly, eat. The food will get cold later.”

Lu Beichuan’s gaze slightly sunk. He didn’t quite believe in Ye Zhen’s attempt at downplaying this topic, but at her urging, he still picked up the chopsticks.

“Eat more leafy greens. They’re good for your health... Eat more meat too for a nutritional balance... You worked hard in the morning. Drink some soup. Eat more.” Ye Zhen ladled out a small bowl of soup for him and placed it in front of him.

Lu Beichuan picked up the spoon, scooped out a spoonful of soup, and brought it to his lips.
