Chapter 314 - Level 30 Potion
The Genius Mage
Marcus was taken aback when he heard this. A hint of hesitation flashed across his cunning eyes. But, then, he smiled sheepishly and said, âIf thereâs anything you need, feel free to tell me. Iâm the president of the auction house.â
Marcus deliberately mentioned his identity to tell Audrey that he was in charge here.
Audrey did not care about the position of president or vice president. All she wanted was a sincere businessman to negotiate a deal with her.
âI have nothing much to do. Iâm just bored, so I came to take a look and get to know your vice president,â Audrey said deliberately. In short, she did not have any benefits that Marcus could get.
âMiss Catherine isnât here to sell potions?â Sure enough, Marcus immediately asked.
Audrey snorted coldly in her heart and looked at Marcus with a meaningful look. She asked in return, âWhy? Canât you come to the auction house if you donât sell potions? Is this how you treat your customers after the auction?â
âTake her to the vice president.â Marcusâ eyes darkened. There was nothing more to say.
The shop assistant immediately went forward and brought Audrey to another area.
The auction was very large. The vice presidentâs office was on one of the floors. After the shop assistant brought Audrey there, she left. Audrey knocked on the door and entered.
âVice president, hello. Iâm Catherine.â Audrey introduced herself. Of course, for safety reasons, she did not reveal her real name.
Dillon was still in a daze when he saw Audrey.
In the auction house, he had always been suppressed by Marcus. It was rare for him to come into contact with any big-spending customers. Marcus was afraid that he would snatch the position of president away from him.
âYouâre the person who came to sell the potion that day, Miss Catherine?â After a long while, Dillon finally reacted. He warmly greeted Audrey, âPlease have a seat.â
Audrey could still see the warmth from Dillon, but it was different from Marcus. Marcusâ warmth was filled with interest and had other motives, while Dillon was just pure warmth.
She could not be wrong in judging people.
âThank you.â Audrey chuckled. She sat down and went straight to the point. âActually, I came here to discuss a deal with you. I want to sell a few bottles of potions.â
Dillonâs smile froze when he heard that. âShouldnât you be talking to Marcus if you want to sell potions?â
âNo, I donât want to talk to him. I want to talk to you. Why not?â Audrey said directly.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
It seemed like the good news had come too quickly, catching people off guard. Dillon was stunned for a long time before he smiled and said, âOf course. What potions does Miss Catherine want to sell?â
âLevel 20 and level 30 advancement potions.â Audrey took out a few bottles of potions that emitted purple light and handed them to Dillon.
At this moment, the office door was suddenly pushed open. Standing at the door was Reginald, who had a delighted look on his face. Ever since he had taken Audreyâs potion back to do research, he had been mesmerized in the laboratory.
Unfortunately, after such a long time, he still had not made much progress. Today, when he heard that Miss Catherine was here, he immediately came looking for her.
âMiss Catherine, long time no see. Iâve missed you so much.â Reginald did not feel that there was anything wrong with his intrusion. Instead, he excitedly went forward to talk to Audrey.
âMr. Reginald, long time no see. Howâs your research going?â Audrey asked politely.
âLess than one-ten-thousandth of Miss Catherineâs. I havenât made much progress.â
Hearing this, Audrey pursed her lips. A level-10 or level-20 potion was the most difficult to refine because it represented perfection. If she wanted to refine it, she had to study it carefully.
According to Mr. Reginaldâs ability, he would need at least one of two years to fully study it.
Reginaldâs eyes lit up when he noticed the few bottles of potion on the table. Although he had not taken them back to verify them, he could tell that they were extraordinary.
âMiss Catherine, are these the potions you recently refined?â Reginald asked, his voice filled with surprise.
âYes,â Audrey explained. âThese are level 20 and level 30 potions.â
Level-30?
Reginald was so surprised that his eyes almost fell out. He had thought that level-20 was Catherineâs upper limit. He did not expect that she would take out another level-30 potion in such a short time.
It was really unbelievable.
âItâs my first time seeing a level-30 potion.â
âItâs good that youâre here. Bring it over to verify it. If thereâs no problem, Miss Catherine will auction them off.â Dillon interjected from the side.
âAlright.â Reginald nodded. He held the few bottles of potion in his hands and could not put them down.
Audrey could not help but find it funny as she watched. Her alchemy abilities were not limited to that. If she had enough materials, it should not be a problem to refine a level 50 potion.
In her previous life, her alchemy abilities were unrivaled.
After Reginald left, Audrey discussed the price with Dillon. Of course, it was not just the price this time.
âIn the future, I will often come to auction potions. If possible, I would like to enter into long-term cooperation with you,â Audrey said bluntly.
