there was an soft knock at the door taking me out of my trance as i examined the outfits i had picked out on my bed for the party tonight.

i sighed and walked towards the front door unlocking it, "eden-", i paused as i saw brandon at the door. "oh hi brandon", i said with an bit of confusion.

he smiled at me before letting himself in, "wassup babe", he threw his book bag onto the floor and slipped his shoes off before flopping onto the couch.

i looked around and closed the door making my way to the living room. "what are you doing here, its not Friday nor do we have anything planned?", i asked curiously because he never just popped up.

he ruffled his hair getting comfortable on the couch messing up the pillows and decorative pillow eden had fixed before she left knowing she would upset about it when she came back

"I can't just stop by and spend some time with my girl?", he looked at me grabbing the remote and turning on the tv. i sighed, "brandon im business... I have stuff to do", i say hoping he would understand.

he shrugged, "cancel them", he said bluntly not having a care in the world. there was an silence as I watched him with an slight disgust on my face. "no, i can't", i walk into my room him hot on my tail.

brandon looked at the clothes on my bed and noticed the state of my room, "where you going?", he asked with an harsh tone. i rolled my eyes, "an party", i say taking pictures of my outfit sending them to eden for help.

"what about the party?", i asked and she stands up from the bed grabbing my outfit. when we arrived at the party it was already filled with husky students that were intoxicated and having an overall good time as bitch, don't kill my vibe by kendrick lamar played through out the house.

i giggle at eden and back at paige whom eyes were still on me, "thank you, so do you", i say pointing at her outfit. she was dressed black short sleeve top with an white crop underneath, green cargos and platform black converse. (ifykyk and ik they not converse but idk wtf they are)

she hummed taking an sip of whatever was in the red solo cup. "can you get me a drink?", i asked and she nodded. "yeah, what you want?".

i looked around at the bottles and shrugged, "whatever doesn't burn", I mumbled and she laughs. "then i should just get you water cause they all burn baby", she leaned against the counter with an smile.

she handed her cup out in front of mines before letting out cheers and taking an big gulp of her drink and i follow in her head slowly grimacing at the bitter taste.

"that's nasty", i stick my tongue out of disgust making her laugh. it sounded so beautiful... it was one of those laughs that were contagious and made you feel happy and warm inside.

i dont f**k with you by big Sean started playing and my eyes widened as i took another sip. "you like this song?", she asked as she saw the excitement on my face. i nodded as I started to nod my head to the beat.

"I DONT FUCK WITH YOU", i hear eden yell and i quickly make my way towards her rapping along with her making paige and kk watch us from afar with an amused look on their faces.

as we rap along i was quickly snatched my arm by an rough hand, "You're embarrassing me, can't you just sit down and look pretty", brandon yelled at me and eden quickly stepped in front of him.

"can you just go the fuck away? You're like a got damn fly that won't leave her alone! SHES A GROWN ASS WOMAN which means she can do whatever the fuck she wants. IM SO SICK YO SHIT BRANDON leave her the fuck alone or i promise to you shit won't be pretty", eden went off causing a scene.

as much as i hated attention, i felt good that eden stood up for me but also a little shame that I couldn't do it myself. brandon looked around the party and scoffed looking at me, "lets go", he said to me but i stood still. "let's go, i said", he demanded.

"she ain't going no where but you definitely gotta kick rocks buddy", Paige said standing behind me placing her hand on my waist. brandon quickly noticed and shook his head pointing his hand in my face, "you gone regret this", he said before leaving.

i lowered my head down in shame but paige quickly lifted it up looking me in the eyes. "it's alright mama... nobody judging you, i promise. Just have fun, okay?", she said and i nodded.
