the moment was beautiful, an moment i wanted to last forever. she did not only care for my body but she loved it, she marked kisses all over my body, pleasured me and whispered sweet nothings in my ear.

i ran my hands through her blonde locks as she laid tangled in my arms with her head stuffed in my neck still placing kisses into the crease of my neck.

"are you okay?", she whispered with one last kiss before looking into my eyes. i nodded softly with an smile on my face, "yeah I'm okay, you?", i return the question and an big smile plasters onto her face.

she laughs an bit hiding her face into my neck making laugh at the her, "what's funny?", I ask her and she shakes her head before looking back up at me. "I'm okay... I'm more than okay", she assures me.

there was an silence as we stare into each other eyes, i was more than grateful to have somebody like paige to love. i loved every version her, every aspect, every flaw, every little thing about her i had loved, well i love.

she clears her throat and places an kiss onto my lips before slipping out my arms, "let's shower and get some sleep", she says and i barely let out an okay.

it was always that doubt in me, always that moment where i self sabotage everything but i was that fear in me that thought this isn't real but i tried to shake that feeling away because me being treated right and being loved isn't something i should think isn't real because of how shitty other people have treated me.

"what's wrong?", she asks as we make eye contact with each other in the bathroom mirror. i shake my head at her faking an smile as i make way towards the warm shower but she pulls me by waist pulling me back into the mirror calling my bluff.

"talk to me baby, tell me what's going on that head of yours", she asks genuinely. i let out an sigh, "i- I just have these moments where I just feel like this isn't real and i know it's real but it's just... I've never been treated this way before and i feel like sometimes im just lost and confused and that you deserve someone better", i ramble.

she turns me around my waist making our fronts meet, "you and me sydney are real and i know your past relationships haven't been the best and that's why i thrive everyday to make sure you know, that i care for you, that ill always be here for you, ill be always good to you and i-i want you to know that i love you sydney", she says.

i smile at her as she bends down and places an kiss onto my lips, "okay lets get in before the water gets cold", she says grabbing me by the hand and leading us towards the shower.

the other girls on the team decided to go out for the night to celebrate their win but paige decided she wanted to stay the night with me.

we ordered some wingstop and started to binge watch all the high school musical movies. "did you know that zac efron couldn't sing so they used somebody else voice for him?", paige told me and i looked at her as i took an bite of my wing shaking my head no.

"well it's true", she says and i smile at her softly. "I believe you", i say turning my attention back to the movie. she hums and takes a sip of her drink before cleaning up and coming back to the bed slipping into the sheets.

"sleepy baby?", i ask looking down at her as she puffs her pillow. she nods her head poking her lips out at me, i giggle softly and place an kiss onto her lips.

she smiles softly and start to close her eyes, "hurry so you can massage my head", she whispers. i finish my food and clean up before slipping into bed beside her.

she rapid breath became even as she stuffs her head into my neck going sound asleep in my arms, i run my hands through her blonde locks and placed an kiss onto her temple.

"i love you p", i whisper to her unconscious body. the truth is i did love her but I always afraid to say my feelings out loud... eventually i knew i would have to say it to her directly but this was the safest option for now.
