tomorrow night is an big rival game for UCONN which had the students, athletes and fans all over the world on their toes filled with excitement but i could tell the pressure that everybody was putting paige was slightly taking an mental toll on her.

she's an amazing player and she had the stats, the fans and records to prove it but sometimes we let our heads get in the way. she paced back and forth across my room as linger by cranberries played softly.

we sat in silence for an bit before i tapped her shoulder and she hummed in response, "let's go to the gym", i say and she shoots her head up with an big grin on her face.

she jumps off the bed and starts slipping on her shoes grabbing her keys, "COME ON GIRL", she says with excitement and I laugh at her.

we've been here for about 30 mins and she's been trying her best to teach me the basics of basketball. "okay you've mastered free throws, three pointers but let's see that half court shot", she raises her eyebrows with an smirk as she spins the ball in her hands.

i look at her as if she's crazy, " i just learned tonight... that's too much", i say and she shakes her head. "you got it, you're learning from the best", she winks at me and I playfully roll my eyes at her as she throws the ball.

i sigh as i walk to the half court line and dribble the ball an few times, i look over at paige whom stood an couple feet away with her phone pulled out recording me with an smile on her face.

"this is mamas first try...let's see if she goated", she talks to the camera and i shake my head with an smile because she looked like an proud girlfriend recording me.

i looked away from paige meeting eyes with the net as I dribble the ball, "alright here it go", i say as i jump and bit and shoot the ball.

"NO WAY", paige squealed as she saw the ball fall through the net. she started jumping up and down running towards me with the camera. "NO WAY YOU GOT THIS FIRST TRYY", she said with excitement.

i laughed as she picked me up turning me around in circles, "it was just an half shot", i say and she smiles at me. "but it was your first try baby, you a pro", she says which I knew she was shit feeding me bullshit but it felt good so imma eat it up.

she places me back down on the ground taking her my face into her hands gently pulling me close to her face. "thank you for this... i got my mind off things", she whispers to me looking me in the eyes.

"of course baby", i whisper back and she smiles leaning down meeting her lips with mines, she runs her hand down from my cheek down to my neck slightly placing it on my neck as her other hand trails down to my waist resting in its spot.

i hum in satisfaction as we continue to make out, she smiles into the kiss as she wraps her hand around my neck and just like that im hard.

i pull away catching my breath and she only had that teeth grinning smile on her face... fuckkkk she knew she had me in a chokehold.

"what was that for?", i ask and she shrugs placing an peck onto my lips as she walks towards the bleachers grabbing our things. "let's go so I can get an goood night rest", she pulls her keys out of her pocket and waves me over.

i was happy that she was in a better mood now and that i was able to get her out of her mind but girl you can't just kiss me like that and walk off. "i-okay", i say following behind her.
