It was a bright new day at Sharma Industries, and Ananya was in her cabin, giving Dev a series of orders. Dev stood with his notebook, diligently writing down every instruction she gave him. Ananya's voice was clear and commanding as she listed tasks, her focus sharp.

"Dev, make sure you follow up with the legal team about the contract revisions," Ananya said, her tone brisk as she glanced at the documents on her desk. "And also, we need to schedule a meeting with the new investors by the end of the week. Get it done by today."

Dev scribbled everything down, nodding. "Understood, ma'am. Anything else?"

Ananya was about to respond when she felt a small tug on her sleeve. She looked up and saw Rihaan standing beside her, pouting. His lower lip stuck out adorably, his eyes wide and innocent.

"Anya..." he said softly, his voice a little whiny but undeniably cute.

Ananya paused mid-sentence and turned her full attention to Rihaan. "What happened, Rihaan? Do you want something?"

Rihaan looked up at her with those big eyes, the pout still very much in place. "I want a... a sec... secra..." He fumbled with the word.

Ananya raised an eyebrow, realizing what he was trying to say. "Secretary?"

Rihaan's face lit up, nodding eagerly. "Yes! I want a sec-etary!" His pronunciation was still a bit off, but he was determined. "I want a Dev too!"

Ananya bit back a smile, trying to remain serious. "Oh, you want a Dev?" she asked, raising an eyebrow playfully.

Dev, who was standing just a few feet away, pressed his lips together, trying his hardest not to burst out laughing. The corners of his mouth twitched, but he kept his composure, though it was a struggle. Ananya, sensing Dev's effort to control himself, felt a smile tugging at her own lips.

She glanced at Dev, her eyes twinkling with amusement, and then turned back to Rihaan. "You want a secretary too, huh?"

Rihaan nodded again, his expression serious. "Yes. I want a Dev."

Dev could no longer contain himself. He quickly turned his face away, biting his lip and covering his mouth to stop the laughter that threatened to spill out. Ananya noticed, her smile growing wider. It was rare for her to be this light-hearted in the office, but with Rihaan, everything felt different.

"Alright," Ananya said, playfully humoring Rihaan. "But first, let me finish talking to Dev, okay?"

Rihaan agreed with a quick nod but stayed glued to her side, watching her intently. Ananya finished her instructions, giving Dev a quick look that was almost like a silent command.

"That's all, Dev," she said. "You can go now."

As Dev turned to leave, his hand on the doorknob, Ananya called out, "And, Dev... don't laugh."

That was all it took. The moment Dev stepped outside and the door closed behind him, they could hear his laughter echoing down the hallway. He was laughing so hard that he couldn't hold it back anymore. Ananya shook her head, chuckling softly as a smile broke out on her face.

She turned back to Rihaan, still smiling, and noticed he was watching her with an intense expression. ?"

"What's so funny, Anya?" Rihaan asked, his head tilted in confusion.

"Nothing, Rihaan," she said with a smile, brushing her hand over his hair. "Now, about that secretary of yours..."

Rihaan's eyes lit up again. "Yes! My sec-etary! Where is my Dev?"

Ananya's lips curved into a playful smile. She leaned down slightly, resting her chin on her hand as she teased, "Why do you want someone else to be your secretary when you have me?"

Rihaan blinked, confused for a moment, then his eyes lit up. "You'll be my secretary?"

Ananya laughed softly and nodded. "Yes, I'll be your secretary for today."

Rihaan beamed with excitement, clapping his hands together like a little kid. "Okay! Then, um, what do secretaries do?"

"Well," Ananya began, standing up from her desk and walking around to stand beside him and made him sit on her chair, "a secretary follows the boss's orders and helps them with anything they need."

Rihaan looked thoughtful for a moment, then straightened his posture, trying to look as serious as possible. "Okay! Then you have to follow my orders, Anya!"

Ananya gave a playful salute. "Yes, boss. What's your first order?"

Rihaan puffed out his chest, clearly enjoying this new role. "I want... um, I want juice!"

Ananya smiled warmly and nodded. "Juice, coming right up."

She walked over to the small kitchenette in her office and poured him a glass of juice.

Rihaan looked at the glass of juice, nodding approvingly. "Good, good," he said, mimicking the way he had seen other bosses act. "Now... uh... now give me the pen." He pointed to the pen on the pen stand.

Ananya handed him the pen with a straight face. "Here's your pen, sir."

Rihaan took the pen with great importance, holding it like it was a precious item. He scribbled on a piece of paper for a second and then looked up. "Now... you have to write everything I say."

Ananya nodded seriously, grabbing her notepad. "I'm ready."

Rihaan puffed out his chest, looking incredibly proud of himself. "Write this: Rihaan is the best."

Ananya smiled, jotting it down. "Got it. Rihaan is the best."

Later in the afternoon, Dev came back to check on Ananya's schedule. As he opened the door, he stopped in his tracks, his eyes widening at the scene before him. Rihaan was sitting in Ananya's chair, legs swinging playfully, while Ananya stood beside him with a notepad, pretending to take notes on his "important tasks."

"And then I want to build a super big castle with chocolate walls," Rihaan was saying, his face glowing with excitement.

Ananya nodded, her expression serious. "Chocolate walls. Got it, boss."

Dev blinked, trying to process the scene in front of him. "Uh... ma'am?" he said slowly.

Rihaan looked at Dev, grinning widely. "Dev! You're back. You're my second sec-tra-ry now!" he declared proudly.

Dev looked at Ananya, who simply shrugged with a smirk. "You heard the boss, Dev. You're his second secretary now."

Dev, still trying not to laugh, nodded and played along. "Of course, sir. What would you like me to do?"

And so, for the rest of the day, Dev and Ananya followed Rihaan's adorable orders. They helped him build a makeshift fort with blankets and pillows, found his favorite toys, and even joined him in a pretend meeting where Rihaan was the CEO of the biggest chocolate factory in the world.

Every time Ananya looked at Rihaan's joyful expression, she was reminded of how much she cared for him. Not in the romantic sense-she didn't love him like that-but in a deep, protective way. She would do anything to see him smile.

By the end of the day, Ananya was sitting on the couch, watching Rihaan happily color in his book. Dev stood beside her, shaking his head with a grin. "I've worked for some tough bosses in my life, but I have to say, Rihaan takes the cake."

Ananya chuckled, glancing fondly at Rihaan. "He does, doesn't he?"

As the evening approached, Rihaan finally grew tired, his energy waning after a full day of play. He stretched out on the couch, yawning loudly. "I'm tired, Anya," he mumbled, his eyes drooping.

Ananya smiled softly, brushing a hand over his hair. "That's because you worked so hard today, Mr. Rihaan. You've earned a rest."

Rihaan grinned sleepily, curling up on the couch. "You're the best sec-etary," he murmured before drifting off to sleep.

Ananya smiled softly, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "And you're the best boss, Rihaan."

Dev, standing nearby, couldn't help but chuckle. "I have to agree with that, ma'am."

Ananya watched him for a moment, her heart swelling with affection. She turned to Dev, who was standing beside her, his expression amused but understanding.

"Long day," Ananya said with a sigh, her voice soft but content.

Dev smiled. "But a good one."

Ananya nodded, her gaze returning to Rihaan's peaceful sleeping form. "Yes," she whispered. "A very good one."
