Robin scoffed. “You should be honored that I’m wrecking your little company. I’m giving you one last chance. Make a public apology in three days and clarify that it’s the Lewis family who has dumped you, or I’ll shut your company down and kick you out of Atheville.”

Zeke began to grow impatient. “Are you insane? I told you I’ve never even acknowledged this engagement, so how could I have publicly renounced it? Get out of here now. You’re disrupting my business.”
