Chapter 693
Lord Protector Novel
Franklin then left.
Lacey consoled, âZeke, donât worry. Although you canât come. Iâll take photos of Master Williamsâ battle to show you.â
Zeke was not sure whether he should be happy or upset.
Youâre taking my photos to show me. Doesnât it sound nonsensical?
Lacey then wondered, âZeke, how do you think we should thank Master Williams? Will it seem too insincere if we only say thanks? Should we give him money? Iâm sure someone like Master Williams wonât care about money.â
Zeke thought to himself. Why donât you give your thanks by giving yourself to Master Williams?
However, fearing Laceyâs fury, he did not verbalize his thoughts.
When he returned to the Linton Groupâs office, Zeke found out that many staff members had used Master Williams silhouette as their desktop wallpapers.
In the photo, Master Williams had sent Master Claymoore flying with a hit. His back was straight, and he looked majestic.
Zeke did not know who took a photo of him while he was fighting Barnaby.
He curiously asked one of the women, âWhy did you change your wallpapers to Master Williams? Do you admire him?â
The woman shyly answered, âSir, you might not know this, but thereâs a saying going around here â
Trust in Williams for a lifetime of good luck.â
Zeke queried, âWilliams?â
âMaster Williams. We call him just Williams.â
Zeke was speechless.
Right then, his phone beeped..
His mother-in-law, Hannah, had sent him an article.
The title of the article readâ Forward this Master Williams so that everything will go smoothly during July!
Silence ensued.
At this rate, Master Williams is going to be a meme!
Zeke called Eclipse and told him about Martial Arts Association coming up with tickets.
Eclipse did not sound surprised as he replied, âWell, itâs normal for Martial Arts Association to come up with something like that. Thereâs nothing to feel surprised about. If youâre not happy about it, I can ask for them to split the money theyâve collected.â
Zeke huffed out a laugh, âSplitting... Martial Arts Association really sees this as an opportunity for business, donât they? Forget it. I donât want to bother with them. It wonât be a problem for you to get me two tickets, right?â
Eclipse answered, âOf course not. Iâll get you two VIP tickets.â
Zeke continued, âRight. Thereâs someone called Franklin Jackman in the Martial Arts Association. Get him out of the association. Also, render his two tickets useless.â
Eclipse responded, âSure. No problem.â
Time went by in a blink of an eye. Soon, it was the day of the battle.
Early in the morning, Franklin had come to pick Lacey up to watch the battle.
Lacey had an embarrassed frown on her face as she murmured, âSorry, Mr. Jackman. Iâll be going with Zeke.â
Franklin was instantly upset.
âHe doesnât have a ticket. Why is he going?â
âHe doesnât have a ticket. Why is he going?â
Lacey replied, âHeâll be cheering from the outside-â
Zeke interrupted, âWho said I donât have tickets to watch the battle?â
As he spoke, he took out the two tickets that Eclipse had given him.
The other two stared at the tickets, astonished.
Franklin took the tickets and glanced at them before bursting into laughter.
âDude, where did you get this? Were you fooled? Take a look. Mine are the actual tickets. The Martial Arts Association didnât come up with fancy tickets like yours.â
Zeke explained, âMine are VIP tickets. Naturally, you havenât seen them.â
âPfft!â Franklin laughed even louder, âThatâs enough, dude. How could I not recognize tickets that the Martial Arts Association printed? Look at yours. You donât even have the anti-theft code. Lacey, letâs go.
Letâs not be late for it.â
At that, Franklin moved to hold Laceyâs hand.
Zeke stepped forward to pull her toward his side.
âLacey, his tickets are fake. He wonât be able to enter. Letâs go. I will take you there to watch the battle.â
With Laceyâs hand in his, they walked off.
Franklin gritted out, âWilliams, how dare you? Iâm going to stop you from entering, and Iâm going to teach you a lesson!â
He took out his phone to make a call.
âDonovan, Troy, teach someone a lesson for me.â
âHe doesnât hove o ticket. Why is he going?â
Locey replied, âHeâll be cheering from the outside-â
Zeke interrupted, âWho soid I donât hove tickets to wotch the bottle?â
