Chapter 22

Kys POV:

I opened my eyes groaning at the headache I had.

I was in  a room I didn't recognize. The bed sheets were silk black and the rooms walls were tall. I noticed a huge painting on the wall to the side of me of a black Jaguar in the jungle. I looked to my other side and saw my neighbor sleeping peacefully. Her arms were wrapped around my waist and her dreads were laid out over the pillow. She looked so peaceful and calm aside from her usual state.

I tried to remember what happened the previous night but it was really all a blur. All I remembered is Leno marching in and slamming that stud onto the ground.

I sat up, slowly taking her arm off of me and placing it on the bed.

"Goodmorning" I heard Leno say with her morning voice. It was deep and seductive.

"Morning" I looked at her. "What happened last night?" I asked.

"I heard somebody yelling so I ran to the bathroom and saw that bitch all on you so I fucked her up and you almost passed out so I offered to take you home and I brought you back here so I could make sure you were alright" she explained.

"Oh" I rubbed the back of my neck "well thank you I really appreciate you helping me out. Let me repay you" I said.

"Don't worry about it you don't need to repay me" she said reassuringly.

"There must be something I can do" I insisted.

"Don't trip for real, you could let me get to know you though" she said smiling.

"As friends?" I wasn't trying to get into something right now.

"As whatever you want" she looked at me seriously.

She bold lol.

"Friends is smoove" I smiled.

"Cool" she smiled back and dapped me up

"Are you hungry" she asked me.

"I could eat" I replied looking at my phone to read the time. 9:37.

It was Saturday morning and I didn't have anything planned for today.

"There's a really good breakfast place about 5 mins from here" she said to me.

"Bet, let me just go shower and change at my pad and we can go" I told her getting up.

"Ok text me when you're ready, I'm driving" she said getting up to lead me out, opening the door for me.

I walked to my house and I saw Valencis car in the drive way.

I walked in and he was in the kitchen cooking up a big ass breakfast surprisingly.

"Dayummm" I said smelling the air walking towards him. We both chefs apparently.

"Morning boss, foods almost ready"

"Morning gang, you mind if the neighbor comes over here to eat, we were bout to hit up a spot together" I asked.

"Nah don't trip tell her slide" he said flipping the pancakes.

I went over to her house again and rang the doorbell since I never got her number.

I waited for damn 5 minutes before she came to the door.

"My bad i was in the shower" she told me opening the door, she was in a towel with her sports bra.

"Don't trip I just came to tell you that my boy made breakfast so you're welcome to come eat with us, we'll have to rain check that breakfast"I tried my hardest not to look at the water that was dripping down her abs. My mouth began to drool.

"Oh yeah bet I'll be there in a second lemme just get dressed" she said back.

"Fasho" I put up the peace and walked back to my crib.

I walked and Valenci was sitting on the couch fucking his plate up.

"Oh yuh you watching the regular show" I walked over to the kitchen to get myself a plate.

"Hell yee" he replied in his thug voice.

I just chuckled. I started getting what I wanted on my plate. I heard the doorbell ring so I went to open the door.

"Wassup" she smiled pulling her dreads back.

"Hannin" I moved to the side to let her in.

"Damn it smell good in here" she said.

"Das the work of a god" Valenci said.

She just chuckled.

"I'm Rico by the way" he put his hand out to dap her up.

"I'm Leno nice to meet you bro" she replied.

"Back at you" he replied.

I went over and got her a plate and set it on the table.

"You smoke?" I asked her pulling out a pre rolled blunt.

"Only on special occasions" she said.

"Shit well meeting me a special occasion" I chuckled lighting up the blunt hitting it.

Her eyes gazed over to me and we stared at each-other for a moment. She then averted her eyes to my lips. I inhaled and exhaled a few more times before passing it to her.

"I'm good right now Preciate ya tho" I nodded and passed it to Valenci.

"So you from around here?" I asked her curiously.

"Nah actually I moved out here my freshman year, I used to stay in jersey what about you" she said.

Valenci eyed me when she said that.

"Nah first time out here actually" I ain't tell her I'm from Jersey cause I'm tryna stay out the radar. What if she knows somebody I know.

"What brings you out here" she asked cutting up her pancake.

"Business opportunity as well, just trying to make some bread feel me, settle down" I said.

"I feel you I'm tryna do the same, the business I'm in be stressing me out" she took a bite.

"I felt that man it was time for a change so I decided to move out here"

We talked about ourselves some more. I found out that her father was killed a few years back and her mom lived in Calabassas with her new boyfriend. I learned that she has a masters in business, minoring in psychology. She's 25 and lives alone. She has one sister and one brother who's locked up for a murder case.

I told her a little something about my diseased parents. I didn't have siblings or a college degree so there wasn't a lot to tell.

I need to watch what I say until I can trust her.

After kicking it for a while she went back to her place and I took a shower and cleaned up a little, unpacking the rest of my things. I like her energy but I feel like there's something she's hiding from me. But then again she doesn't even know my real name.

Few hours later...

It was 9 pm and I was hungry so I decided to go get something to eat.

I called tony romas for a takeout order and headed down there.

Once I picked up my food I headed back to the crib mad excited to eat. I got me the steak and lobster and Valencio got some chicken Alfredo. Basic.

Once I pulled into the parking lot I saw Leno outside talking on the phone with somebody. She seemed angry. When she noticed me looking she quickly got into her and pulled off. So weird.

I walked into the crib and set the food on the table, texting Valencio that I was back.

Once we finished eating, I went back to my room to take a shower. I noticed all of Lenos lights were off abs it was currently 11 pm.

I brushed it off and went to brush my teeth before hopping in.
