Chapter 484
The Princess and the Paupers Novel Full Episode
âI want you gone.â Grace pounded on the nightstand, her entire body shaking with rage.
âMum, donât get riled up; just cool it.â
âGet out! Canât you understand what Iâm saying? I want you two to leave now!â Grace screamed with
all her might.
Worried that this would only worsen her condition, Attlee started to get up, pulling Yolanda with him.
âAlright, you rest up; weâll come see you in a few days.â
âGet out!â Grace was so angry that she was nearly voiceless, her body shaking violently. After they
left, she realized her face was wet.
She laughed bitterly at herself. She never imagined sheâd end up so alone in her old age.
Blood ties didnât mean squat.
She slowly took out a phone from underneath her pillow, checked her recent call records, and dialed
Arabella, just wanting to hear the young girlâs voice. âGranny, whatâs wrong?â Arabella could tell
something was off from her voice: âAre you feeling down?â
âNot really; I just miss you. What are you up to?â
Arabella paused what she was doing, glanced at the massager on her table, and said gently, âNothing
much, just some workârelated stuff.â
âDonât work too hard; remember to rest. By the way, whenâs my surgery?â She was getting anxious.â
âIn three days.â
âThree days, huh?â Touching her chest, Grace repeated the date, unsure if she could make it.
These past few days, Attlee had enraged her to the point where her heart was constantly hurting and
she was having difficulty breathing.
Mistaking her concern for the success rate of the surgery, Arabella smiled gently and said, âDonât
worry, Granny. As long as the surgery is successful, youâll be much stronger. Just focus on
recuperating; I promise youâll live to be a hundred.â
Grace laughed, saying, âWhy would I want to live that long? Iâd be content just to see you get married.â
âGranny, donât say that; weâll get through the tough times.â
Arabella had saved her life countless times when she was hanging by a thread.
âItâs just a minor operation; you rest easy. When you wake up, everything will be better.â
âOkay, I trust you; Iâll rest easy.â Grace said with a laugh, showing great trust in Arabellaâs medical
skills, âBy the way, when I get out of the hospital, I want to move to that house in the suburbs.â
She no longer wanted to see Attlee and the others.
âAlright, Iâll have it cleaned up.â
âAfter Iâve recovered a bit, arrange a meeting with your parents. I want to talk to them faceâtoâface.â
âSure, no problem.â
âYou carry on; I need to rest.â
âOkay, bye, Granny.â
After hanging up, Arabella looked at Jack and said, âCheck if Attlee went to the hospital today.â
âDid something happen to the old lady?â
âNo.â Arabella just thought her voice sounded a bit down and, wasnât sure if it had anything to do with
Attlee. âAlso, have Caden check on her to see if sheâs feeling unwell.â
âAlright.â After completing the task, Jack reported back, âBoss, Attlee did go to the hospital today with
Olga and Yolanda. I guess they were there to visit a patient!â
