“Your dad’s quite chuffed with me.”

“What the hell are you on about?” David Collins was incredulous. “How could my dad possibly agree?

Right, Bella?”

“He’s telling the truth.”

David was shocked “Dad really agreed?”

He thought to himself, “Is he really my biological father? Bella’s just a kid! How could dad even think

that? How could he be so careless?”

“My brother was back in town a while ago. You didn’t get a thrashing from him, did you? I gonna tell

that to my big brother, so he could come back and give you a good beating” David threatened him with

his brother.

“My brother approved too, he even invited me for a meal next time.”

“No way!”

His brother was such a hard nut to crack. How could he possibly agree to let some random guy be with

Bella?

They hadn’t seen each other for just a few days, and this guy’s lying skills were through the roof!

“I don’t have time for this nonsense.” Romeo checked his watch, then looked tenderly at Arabella.

“Bella, let’s go.”

As Arabella was about to go, David grabbed her. “Bella, you’re not going anywhere with him today. I’m

taking you shopping!”

He refused to believe that Bella would choose this guy over her own brother!

But the next second, Arabella said, “I already promised Romeo; can we go shopping another time?”

“You, promised him?” David hadn’t expected Arabella to have accepted Romeo’s invitation. “Even if

you did promise, you can cancel it!gnore him! I finally have two days off; do you really want to leave me

at home to be nagged by mom?”

Romeo glanced at his hand. “Let go.”

“You let go first!”

“I’m taking Bella to dinner.”

“I don’t care; Bella’s not going anywhere with you today!” David held on tightly to Arabella’s hand.

Watching from the shadows, Serena was about to explode with anger!

She couldn’t believe David and Romeo were fighting over Arabella!

What on earth did Arabella have that was so great?

“Bella, who do you want to go with?” Romeo held on to Arabella’s hand. He sounded like he was

asking for her opinion, but his pleading, lingering eyes seemed to say, “You haven’t been with me for

so long! You promised to be with me today!”

Arabella was a bit helpless. “David, I promised him first. I’ll go shopping with you next time.”

“No.” David’s heart broke, but he still held on to Arabella’s hand. “Where are you guys going? Can I

come too? I can carry your bags?”

He could also keep an eye on this guy for any outrageous behavior!

If there was, he definitely wouldn’t let it slide!

Arabella looked at David’s handsome face. It was so eye–catching. If she took him along, she would

definitely attract a lot of attention!

She had experienced firsthand how famous he was at the airport that day.

“I can wear a hat! Sunglasses! A mask! I can wrap myself up like a mummy! I guarantee no one will

recognize me!”

Arabella said lightly, “Next time.”

It was daytime now, and David would easily be recognized, but not at night.

“Bella, are you really going to leave me behind?”

David felt like his heart was being ripped out. He hadn’t expected Arabella to be so easily swayed by

this bad guy! She was even going to go with him!

What on earth had this bad guy done?

Seeing Romeo open the car door for Arabella, David couldn’t help but warn him, “I’m telling you, you

can date! But if you dare to do anything inappropriate, cross any boundaries, or do anything

outrageous, Arabella’s five brothers won’t let you off the hook!”
