Watching David walk away, Serena was fuming.

Just then, Martha hurried over to her, looked around to ensure no one was around, and whispered,

“Serena! I heard David’s welcome gift for Ms. Bella is a limited edition diamond set from CN.”

“CN did release a few diamond sets recently, but each one is worth a fortune!” Serena’s eyes widened

in disbelief. “Is David really willing to spend that much on a sister he’s never met?”

This jewellery set was globally limited. A lot of people, including foreign royals, wanted to buy it. It

wasn’t something she could just buy if she had the money! It involved connections, power, status and

was incredibly complicated.

Even though Serena wanted that jewellery set, she knew that as an adopted daughter, she had no right

to ask her parents to buy her something that expensive! But David had easily bought it and given it to

that person!

The worst part was all she got were ten autographs. It was so unfair!!

“Everyone in the family says they’ll treat everyone fairly, but their attitudes towards you and Arabella

are clearly different, and the treatment gap is huge!” Martha sighed, “Serena, no matter how hard you

try, you can’t change this fact.”

Serena bit her lip unwillingly. Could her parents and brother easily take back the love they had for her

for 18 years just because of blood ties?

She used to be the little princess of the family. They promised to make her the most carefree and

happy little princess–in the world! They were all liars!!! They stopped taking care of her after their

It would be so much better if Arabella didn’t come back.

David walked quickly and soon caught up with Arabella, “Bella!”

His clear voice reached Arabella’s ears. Arabella had just walked into the room and turned her head

with a puzzled look when she heard the voice, “Bro, what’s up?” David quickly handed her a black card

and sincerely said, “This is some pocket money for you, no limit. Feel free to spend it. Consider it a little

token of my affection.”

Arabella looked at the black card in his hand with some surprise. Why did all the brothers in the house

like to give her money?

“Thanks,” Arabella said softly, “I have enough money.”

Yes, when someone wanted her to write a song before, she said she was not short of money and didn’t

take orders.

When asked to design jewellery, she also said she was too busy to do it. She was not short of money

at all!!

Not only was she not short of money, but as the founder of QY, a pianist, and composer, her income

must be very high. How could she be short of money?

But David still insisted on giving it to her and said seriously, “This is a token of my affection. Are you not

accepting it because of what happened tonight? I was wrong tonight, and it was all my fault. Can you

forgive me?”

Before Arabella could answer, David said pleasingly, “Can I buy you some candy?”

Arabella found it amusing, “I’ve already forgotten about tonight.”

refusals!”

Arabella was amused by him, thinking he was kind of cute. She reached out to take his card, It didn’t

matter if she kept it without spending it.

busy I am, I will fly back and take you shopping!”

“I got it.”

“Good girl!” David pinched her face again, thinking his little sister was well–behaved and likeable.

“What about your WhatsApp?”

“Oh right, WhatsApp!” He wanted to add her on WhatsApp, but every time he asked Louisa, she told

him to ask his sister at home!

He knew what Louisa was worrying about! He wouldn’t just chat a few words with his sister on

WhatsApp and not come home. He wasn’t that kind of person!

“Let me add you!” David immediately took out his phone, hoping to be his sister’s friend on WhatsApp

soon, and then he could show off in front of his other

-brothers!

David scanned his sister’s QR code business card and immediately added her as a friend, with the

note: Bella.

After adding WhatsApp, Arabella sent him two pictures..

When David opened it, his eyes widened, “Sheet music?”

“This is my original composition. It’s never been released. I think it suits you.” Arabella’s eyes were very

gentle, “This is my welcome gift for you.”

David was hugely surprised. He was dazed for a moment, vaguely hearing his sister talking.

definitely create a huge sensation.

But, he always felt he had taken advantage of his sister’s hard work.

“If you need a song next time, just contact me directly. I can provide it within a day.” Arabella said

calmly, “If you want to buy jewellery, you can also find me. I can help you verify it”

Even though the diamond jewellery set David gifted her was beautifully designed and made of high–

quality diamonds, it wasn’t worth ten million bucks!

Sure, they’re top–notch brands, and the price might be justified, but as his sister, she couldn’t help but

feel bad for her brother’s money.

“Are you worrying about me?” David thought, what a sweet, sensible sister he had.
