Chapter 1864
The Princess and the Paupers Novel Full Episode
Before Sean could answer, the old lady queried again, âIs it true that Ophelia and David are a perfect
match?â
âGrandma,â Sean asked with a hint of annoyance, âwhy are you up worrying about this stuff at this
hour?â
David and Ophelia? A match?
Not even close!
âThat young lady is just too charming and she seems so well-mannered. Most importantly, sheâs
completely devoted to Bella. I wonât lie, the first time I laid eyes on her, I hoped sheâd be my
granddaughter-in-law.â
Corneliaâs smile was so wide it almost split her face, âI wonder when that girl will visit again. I didnât get
nearly enough time to chat with her tonight.â
The one who didnât get enough time to chat was him, Sean, right??
This evening, everyone had been fussing over Ophelia with warm greetings, even Hans, Chasel and
Clark had quite the conversation with her. Yet, every time he tried to speak to Ophelia, it ended in a
misunderstanding! He barely exchanged a few words with her.
He had lesser interaction with Ophelia than all of the others!
âThere's more than one bachelor in this house!â Sean muttered discontentedly.
Cornelia paused, realizing she had overlooked her dear grandson Sean!
âOh, thatâs right, you too. Iâm getting forgetful.â She quickly pulled out her smartphone and tapped on a
photo sent by a contact, âWhat do you think of this girl? She looks pretty innocent and elegant.â
âSheâs like a budget version of Serena Lott,â Sean clearly wasnât interested.
âHow about this one? Sheâs both sultry and classy. She seems like a determined person too.â
Seanâs frown deepened; he was clearly displeased.
âThen take a look at these ones; weâve got the cute type, the elegant type, the artsy type, and the
queen bee type.â
âJust introduce them to David.â Sean couldnât muster any interest but got increasingly irritated.
âYou, my boy, are too picky. All these women are highly educated and superior in their looks, careers,
and wealth, and yet you fancy none of them.â
At that moment, Bernard came out after a shower, and Sean couldnât help blurting out, âGrandpa, you
should get Grandma to rest. Sheâs been fussing over nothing all day.â
He couldnât go on with this conversation, or heâd explode from frustration.
Bernard, noticing his displeasure, asked with a chuckle, âWhatâs wrong?â
âIâm trying to set him up with someone, but he doesnât like any of them!â Cornelia was baffled by her
grandson's difficulty in finding a partner, wondering why he couldnât just find a girlfriend and settle down
like his brothers.
âWhat kind of girl does Sean like then?â Bernard asked with a twinkle in his eye, âYour grandmaâs
asked around quite a bit and rounded up all sorts of girls for you, oh wait, we havenât found an Ophelia
type yet.â
Upon hearing Opheliaâs name being mentioned, Sean perked up, but his hope was dashed in the next
second when Cornelia said, âOpheliaâs busy managing the company; she hardly has time for herself. If
sheâs looking for someone, she needs someone like David whoâs attentive and considerate, who can
be her safe harbor when sheâs exhausted.â
Not someone with a hot temper like Sean.
âYes, David is the life of the party, easy-going, bright, and sunny. The moment I saw Ophelia tonight, I
thought she and David were a perfect match.â
Seanâs heart shattered once again.
He didnât want to listen anymore. Mumbling about being tired, he walked out of the room.
âThe kid, I donât know what heâs huffing about.â Cornelia watched Seanâs retreating figure, guessing
that none of the girls caught his eye, and that perhaps he felt too young to settle down.
âLet him have his fun for a few more years. As long as both Hans and Chasel settle down, the rest will
naturally follow suit when the time is right.â
Sean had barely stepped away from his grandmother's room when he heard a noise coming from his
sisterâs room.
âBella.â
