Chapter 170
Bride of Mr.Billion
Bellaâs POV: I suddenly felt that the temperature in the room seemed to be a little high. I quickly changed the subject. âOn Christmas, you should be with your family. Your family might be angry with you.â âMy mother passed away a long time ago. My father has another family. Iâm all alone!â Klein said.
Klein was someone who had a story, but I felt that the atmosphere was a bit off. And then, I stood up and said, âItâs already two oâclock in the morning. Why donât you send me back?â Klein lowered his head and sat on the sofa, not answering me. Two minutes later, he suddenly stood up, walked up to me, and reached out to hold my shoulder.
âWhat are you doing?â I instantly became nervous, and his eyes looked terrible. âWhy are you always hiding from me?â Klein stared at me, his expression rather vexed. I frowned and said, âI didnât hide from you, did I? What are you talking about?â Klein was very annoyed. He said, âIâm single, and so are you.
Why are you always refusing me? Canât you feel my love for you?â Was this Kleinâs confession? I felt very flustered.
I reached out and tried to break free from his arms, but his hands were so strong that I couldnât break free at all.
Good heavens! It was early in the morning. We were in a room, and I was wearing only a bathrobe.
If he wanted to force me, I couldnât resist at all.
I had to be careful.
Timmediately said, â⦠You hurt me.â Klein immediately let go of his grip. I seized the opportunity, took a few steps back, and turned to the back of the sofa. Klein and I were separated by the sofa. Klein rubbed his head. âIâm sorry. I was too impulsive.â âItâs okay. I want to go back.â My voice was a little low. Klein lowered his head to look at his watch. In a tone of discussion, he said, âItâs already past two oâclock in the morning. Itâs very cold outside. Why donât you stay here for a night? Iâll send you back tomorrow morning.â I was in a dilemma. Did I have to sleep in the same room with him? Klein hurriedly pointed in the direction of the bedroom. âYou sleep in the bedroom. I sleep on the sofa!â âIâm going to sleep.â I quickly ran into the bedroom, closed the door, and locked it. Then, I wrapped myself up with a thick quilt.
14:14D I went through too much on this day, so I couldnât fall asleep. It seemed that when the sky outside the window turned a little blue, I gradually fell asleep. By the time I woke up, it was already noon.
Oh no! I still had to bring the group of tourists on a tour. Todayâs itinerary was to wake up at half-past six, then eat, and meet at the tour bus at half-past seven.
I looked down at the watch on my wrist. It was broken. I slapped it hard twice, but nothing happened. It seemed that it was broken during the fight last night.
This time, I cursed Connie and her daughter twice in my heart. It must have been broken when I fought with them. This watch cost me more than 1,000 dollars! The next moment, I stepped on my shoes, walked to the door, unlocked it, and walked out. At this moment, Klein was bending down and placing the delicacies on the small cart to the tea table. Klein smiled. âBreakfast is ready. Hurry up and come over to eat.â I turned around and saw all kinds of breakfast on the coffee table.
There was a warm smile on Kleinâs face.
âWhat time is it?â I was stunned and quickly regained my senses. Klein lowered his head to look at the watch on his wrist, then replied, âSeven-thirty.â âThis is bad. My tour group has already gathered. Hurry up and send me back!â I frantically tugged at Kleinâs arm and walked out. After a few steps, Klein pulled me back. âYou donât have to worry. Your colleague has recovered. She went back for the tour group this morning.â âHow did you know?â I asked in surprise. With a smile on his face, Klein turned and lifted up a broken phone from the coffee table. He replied, âLast night, your phone was left on the coffee table. This morning, I received a text message at five oâclock. But I didnât peek at it. I knew because there was a line of words on the phone which showed that your colleague would go and lead the tour in the morning and she asked you to have a good rest.â
