Chapter 119
Bride of Mr.Billion
Herbertâs POV When I was working in the company, I learned that Bella was injured. She was in the hospital now.
I immediately stopped working and went to the hospital to see Bella, I pushed Klein away, then reached out and grabbed Bellaâs shoulders. I asked frantically, âWhatâs wrong?
Whatâs wrong with you?â
When I asked the question, I had been observing Bella. There were no obvious scars on her body, but her left face was swollen. Only then did I feel a little relieved.
But Bella looked at me with a dull expression and did not respond to what I said.
She opened her mouth and seemed to have used a lot of strength, but she couldnât say a word.
I immediately asked Amy, âWhat happened?â
âBella⦠thereâs something wrong with her ears. She canât hear anything now.â Amy replied.
What?
She couldnât hear anything?
I turned to look at Bella. I could clearly see that Bellaâs face was swollen. I asked Amy, âWho hit her face? How could she suddenly not hear anything?â
Amy looked up at me and then looked at Klein, who was standing behind me. She didnât say anything âSpeak!â I yelled.
âShe was beaten by someone.â Amy lowered her head after saying that.
âWho hit her?â At this moment, I only felt that my whole person was wrapped in anger, If I knew who had hit Bella, I would never let go of that person. âThisâ¦â Amy didnât say anything, just looking at Klein, Staring at Klein, I angrily asked, âWho slapped Bellaâs face?â âItâsâ¦â Klein hesitated.
âSay it!â This made me even angrier.
After a moment of silence, Klein replied, âVivian suddenly came back. She was impulsiveâ¦and slapped Bella. I didnât expect that the consequences would beâ¦so serious.â
Hearing these words, I stepped forward, stretched out my fist, and punched towards Kleinâs face!
Texerted quite a bit of strength, and the corner of Kleinâs lips began to bleed.
âAre you a dead person? Why didnât you stop Vivian? Did she hit her into a deaf person? Out of impulse?
This is intentional harm!â I complained, pointing at Klein.
âSince you care so much about her, you could have kept her by your side? Whatâs more, who are you to her now? Do you have the right to criticize me?â This was a response from Klein. I was even angrier. I gave Klein another punch. âI warned you a long time ago to stay away from her. If it werenât for you, Bella wouldnât have been beaten!â
Klein didnât give in. He reached out and gave me a punch as well. âBella isnât your personal item. What gives you the right to warn me?â
I was even angrier, and so I began to fight with Klein. Until Amy shouted, âDonât fight. Bella fainted!â
We stopped in an instant, and then we rushed to Bella and Amy at the same time, âBella, how are you feeling?â Klein and I spoke out at the same time.
I pushed Klein away and took Bella from Amyâs hand. Then I bent down and picked her up. I turned around and shouted, âDoctor! Doctor!â
Bellaâs POV:
When I woke up again, it was already the next day.
I felt that my ears had been ringing, and my brain was in pain. This feeling was really uncomfortable |
opened my eyes and saw that the sky was already bright, while I was lying on the bed. The room was very quiet, and I still couldnât hear anything.
In the blink of an eye, I saw a huge body curled up on the chair in front of the hospital bed, with his head resting on the edge of the bed. He fell asleep, and his posture looked quite uncomfortable.
Herbert took care of me all night. This made me both moved and distressed.
I was moved because he had been taking care of me. My heart ached because I knew that he did not have good sleep. My hand reached for his thick hair, but it froze in the air. I didnât dare to touch him, and then I retracted my hand.
| sat up later.
Herbert was only wearing a white shirt, and the temperature was very low in the early morning.
I took the black windbreaker from the end of the bed and gently put it on him.
At this time, Herbert woke up. He raised his head, and I quickly withdrew my hand.
The next moment, he eagerly asked.
I could only see his mouth moving, but I couldnât hear any sound.
I shook my head dejectedly and pointed to my ears, indicating that I couldnât hear what he said now.
Herbert took out his cell phone, typed two lines of words at the fastest speed, and showed them to me.
âThe doctor said that your eardrums were injured and the situation is not serious. Your hearing will be restored in a few days, so you donât have to worry too much!â Seeing these lines of words, I suddenly felt comforted. I quickly took out my cell phone and typed a line of words. âWhen can I be discharged from the hospital?â Herbert immediately typed another line of words.
âThn dantor caid wouâre still under observation and didnât say a specific time.â
