Her healer

Just ranting my emotions ( you can ignore)

I don't know where to seek comfort whenever I feel lonely or sad , and I end up here. Sometimes you just feel tired and just want to cut off the world but you couldn't do anything.......

I do so much for people and still ended up getting hurt while those who do nothing in actions but only talks, they got the attention I deserve.

I am just so fuckin tired of this selfish world.

Hope I could find peace.

I am just too tired mentally, so just please ignore if there's any editing mistake.

Aashrit who was sleeping peacefully felt a strong hold on his hand and opened his eyes quickly due to his reflexes. He looked at his hand and found Meera looking outside on the balcony with a scared look and one hand on her mouth.

"Meera" He called her almost scaring her.

Meera looked at him with scared eyes "Sorry! Did I wake you up?" She said still holding his hand tight Aashrit looked at his hand and then Meera noticed how she was holding his hand and apologized instantly "I am sorry I didn't realize"

"That's fine. But why are you not sleeping??" Aashrit asked sitting up.

Meera looked outside and saw the shadow still there. Aashrit noticed her line of sight

"Is there some problem?" He asked worried for her.

"The shadow," She said stuttering fearing for her life.

Aashrit looked outside and noticed a shadow and instantly stood up from bed

"What are you doing?" Meera almost shouted

"Checking what it Is?" He said wearing his slippers and moving towards the balcony.

Meera hurriedly stood up from the bed and ran after him holding his hand."Don't go" She whispered while Aashrit looked at her with raised brows. "What if it's a ghost?" She completed with fear in her eyes

Now, that got Aashrit's attention "Ghost?" he asked and Meera nodded.

"I heard Payal sound and then saw this shadow. Please let's go to bed." Meera said clinging to his arms.

"There are no things such as go......." Before he could complete his sentence, Meera put her hand on his mouth stopping him from completing his sentence.

"Don't say such things. They can hear you" She said standing in front of him. Aashrit looked at her and his body shivered with their closeness while Meera was so busy in apologizing to invisible powers that she didn't notice how close she was with him.

"I am sorry if you are around us. My husband didn't mean it. Please forgive him" She apologised while Aashrit smiled at her.

He removed her hand from his mouth taking her attention and said "What if it's a thief or an attacker?" He whispered to her.

Meera was speechless but still put her fear in front of him "But what if it's a ghost??" She whispered slowly.

Aashrit looked at her scared face, her eyes on the verge of tears, sweat beads forming on her face, her pupils looking here and there. He noticed how her hand's grip was getting tighter on his. He removed her hand from his and held her shoulders "I know Hanuman Chalisa so if it's a ghost I'll chant Chalisa and scare the ghost away." He said gently trying to make her understand and she nodded like a child.

He moved towards the balcony but Meera ran and held his hand. He turned back and raised his brows when she spoke " I'll come with you. What if you forgot any mantra? I know the whole Hanuman Chalisa" She said holding his hand.

"Weren't you scared a moment ago?" He questioned her with a smirk.

She ignored his smirk "I still am. But it doesn't mean that I'll leave you alone in adverse conditions. I am your ardhangini, I can't leave you alone when you are walking toward danger." She said holding his hand tightly.

Aashrit's heart skipped a beat with her words and he couldn't believe how she had scared a moment ago but him ready to fight an imaginary ghost "I don't regret marrying you Biwi" He said in his mind and moved towards the balcony tightly holding her hand.

As they reached the balcony, they saw that the shadow forming was of a pillar.

Aashrit looked at Meera and brought her in front of him as her back was touching his chest and said "Look, it's the shadow of the pillar and not of your ghost" He said putting his hand on her shoulder and dangerously near her ears.

"But...But it doesn't form any other day." She said stuttering due to his closeness.

Aashrit understood the reason for her stuttering and smirked to himself. He put his face on her shoulder and his hand snaked onto her waist "Maybe because there are some changes made to the lightening of Mahal" He whispered into her ears. Meera's breathing was getting heavy due to his closeness and she put her hand over his and pressed them tightly unknowingly. He smiled seeing how much he affected her. He was happy to know these feelings were not one-sided. He was feeling her when she suddenly turned back and put her head on his shoulder and hands on his chest.

"This sound, " She said in fear.

Aashrit heard the voice "It's a cricket sound " He said in her ear making her look up at his chuckling face.

She glared at him "Aren't you laughing way too much" She said and went inside the room pushing him but stopped at the entrance to see the darkness.

She looked at her bed and then under it "What if I go there alone and it pulls me inside" The thought went through her mind and she looked back at Aashrit who was standing there enjoying her inner turmoil.

She walked up to him and then held his hand dragging him with her inside the room and settled on the bed.

"I thought you were a strong girl. But you couldn't come alone inside without me" Aashrit said repeating her words and teasing her but Meera's words put a stop to his teasing.

"I am not a strong girl. I am a coward. And I don't need to wear the mask of being strong in front of my husband." She said without even realizing it and lay in the bed.

Aashrit thought about her words and smiled realizing she was opening up with him. He lay on the bed with one hand tucked under his head and one resting on his chest. He looked at her side and saw Meera sleeping while facing him. He noticed how she was not sleeping but just faking it. He turned to her side putting one hand hand under his face and the other resting on the bed near Meera.

Meera opened her eyes and found Aashrit looking at her.

"I saw in movies that Palace like these have a history of Paranormal things. Did you ever experience such things here?" She said expecting him to deny but Aashrit had other plans.

He made a very serious face scaring Meera and said "When I was a child. I was playing in the upper corridor and I heard the sound of Payal." He said with a very serious face and Meera sat up turning on the lights.

"And then " She questioned

Aashrit also sat up with her.

"It was midnight and I was alone on the floor, so I was not expecting anyone. The sound was coming from the end of the corridor. I was curious to find out and walked towards the source of sound" He said and Meera's eyes went wide.

"Are you a female lead in a movie who walks toward the source of sound? You should run in such condition." She scolded him. "Then what happened?" she said at the end.

"I walked towards the sound and a loud gush of wind passed through me giving me goosebumps. As I was nearing the room, the sound was increasing. I put my hand on the door's handle, someone put their hand on my shoulder." He stopped for a second to look at Meera who was hearing him carefully with her hand on her heart. "And as I turned back.............. Booh" He shouted making Meera scream but

he already put his one hand on her mouth so no one could hear her scream.

Aashrit laughed out loud while Meera forcefully removed his hand from her mouth. She glared at him with a cute pout "You are so bad" she said and laid on the bed facing away from him.

Aashrit lay beside her facing her back still chuckling. He tapped on her arm but she pushed his hand and kept looking outside. As he was about to tap, she suddenly turned

"Did you hear that?" She whispered holding his hand.

Although he wanted to tease her he thought it's enough for tonight and wanted her to get enough rest so that she doesn't fell ill.

"It's 3 a.m. Most workers wake up at this time for the cleaning. Must be one of the maids." He told her trying to put her at ease.

She scooped closer to him holding his hand "Why do they wake up so early and if they do why are they wearing Payal?" She whispered not expecting any answers looking at the door.

"It's a big Rajmahal. It needs time to do cleaning ." He said to her lightly stroking her hand with his thumb "Now go to sleep. It's already late"

Meera nodded not wanting to disturb him anymore.

She closed her eyes but sleep was nowhere near to her. She opened her eyes in just a minute and found him looking at her. She left his hand thinking maybe he was not able to sleep because of that. But he held her hand. "Sleep. I will be awake till you sleep" he said hugging her.

"But" She tried to speak but Aashrit put his finger on her lips shushing her.

She again closed her eyes but not even 5 minutes and opened them to find him looking at her. She kept closing her eyes and opening them due to fear. Aashrit realized it was not going to work.

He pulled back from the hug and hovered over her making her eyes grow wide.

He leaned to her face and whispered "If you don't sleep right now I'll have to do something which will tire you so much that you will sleep for the whole day" He said making Meera confused.

"What's that?" Meera asked not understanding his words.

Aashrit chuckled at her innocent mind and leaned closer to her stopping her heartbeat "Let me show you" He said putting his lips on hers.
