CHAPTER 16

I had seen enough so I walked over to the both of them

"What's going on?" I said to no one in particular.

"He's going back to school tomorrow" Dex said softly sniffling afterwards.

"I want to transfer to a local college but.." Dex cut Jaden off.

"You will do not such thing" Dex yelled out to him. He just scoffed and looked away.

"I remember how you were aways hell bent on getting a scholarship and I'm not gonna let you throw it all away because of your emotions" Dex yelled allowing a few more tears to seep out as he spoke.

"Look there's no need for you guys to be yelling" I said and Dex turned away to wipe his nose.

"The least you guys could do is to spend the day with each other, make memories before leaving?" I said and Dex wiped his face a bit more.

"He's right" he said and Jaden nodded in agreement.

"You're stuck with me till you leave" Dex said chuckling and hitting Jaden's chest.

"I'm also going to be leaving tomorrow" I said and Dex's head shot up at me.

"To where?" he asked and I scratched my head nervously.

"Isaiah's parents are having some kind of fancy ball so I have to go" I said almost whispering the last part.

"As his?" he asked.

"What do you mean?" I asked tilting my head a bit.

"When bosses have family functions they don't usually let their employees tag along" Jaden said making me sigh.

"I hadn't thought of that yet but with the way things currently are, I guess I'm going as his bitch" I said and both boys froze and looked at each other before facing me.

"You'll be fine, whatever you are to him" Dex said and kissed my cheek making me smile.

"Now, if you'll excuse us, we have memories to make" Dex said palming Jaden's crotch at the word 'make'.

"Why you little.." Jaden said and pinched Dex's wrist.

"Ouch, meanie" he stuck his tongue out at his boyfriend and they began to chase each other round the car.

"I'll head home now" I yelled out at the running pair.

"Protect me" Dex whined out to me.

"You were asking for it" I yelled and Jaden yelled out a 'ha' and I laughed before leaving.

I got back home and luckily, they weren't at home. I was a bit worried but I forgot all about it as I began to sing and dance while packing some stuff as music blasted from my speakers.

It only took a few minutes of packing but the music part lasted for about an hour longer. I dropped to my bed exhausted and sweaty, my feet were sore and my body was aching. I got up with a groan and locked my door just in case, I was too tired for an unexpected visit from Isaiah.

As the cold water trickled down my body, I hummed with pure content as I felt my energy rejuvenate. I stepped out of the shower afterwards and headed to my bed for a brief nap.

I woke up with a soothing yawn and a few stretches. It was almost dinner time and I had two missed calls on my phone from Dex.

Me: Sup

Dex: My dad is the best!! :)

Me: What happened? Don't you guys have some never-ending father son drama?

Dex: Yeah kinda, he found me crying in my room, I told him everything and he paid my way into a spot into the university, HIS UNIVERSITY as in JADEN!!!!! plus, we'll be roommates, I'm so happy I could die.

Me: Woah that's amazing, glad your life is going awesome, my body is sore from dancing all day

Dex: oh sorry sweetheart, but forget about you for a sec, I told Jaden and he cancelled his flight, now we're taking a road trip to the school in his car....I am super excited

Me: Wow, so what major?

Dex: I dunno yet, my dad never said but probably something that'll bring out my creative side, may be something about decorating?

Me: Awesome :)

Dex: So we both get to travel tomorrow with our Prince charmings leading the way

Me: Atleast your Prince charming isn't married

Dex: sorry sweety :( ....now if you'll excuse me, I plan on having heavy sex in that car so I need a few packets of condoms just in case...:) bye

Me: Lol bye ♡

I threw my phone to the side and rolled out of bed. I got to the door, unlocked it and went downstairs.

Monique was making dinner while Isaiah was watching TV. I went to the living room and sat on the other end of the couch. Isaiah kept his eyes on me for the few minutes I had just sat down.

He looked behind at the kitchen then turned to me, he motioned me over with his finger and I obeyed.

He slid his hand unto my thigh and squeezed almost suddenly making me wince. He pulled a frown and withdrew his hand.

"You okay?" he asked and I nodded, he didn't believe so he quirked a brow at me before crossing his arms.

"I'm just a bit sore from dancing earlier" I mumbled and his arms slowly dropped and he just got up and left.

I sighed and grabbed the remote before changing the channel to Nickelodeon, wow Dex really brought out the child in me.

I was watching The Thundermans when I felt the cushions beside me sink. I turned to Isaiah who had two pills in one hand and a glass of water in the other.

"This'll help" he said and handed over the medication which I downed with the entire glass. I was about to take the glass away when he gently tapped on my knee.

He took the glass from my hands and disappeared into the kitchen. I smiled at myself for a while before focusing back on the TV.

It was after a few minutes that I lazily got up from the couch. I made my way to the table but I stopped as Isaiah got up too with a frustrated sigh.

"You should go eat in your room" he said handing me a plate of food. I awkwardly took it and looked up at him, he looked pissed but calm at the same tune while Monique had a desperate expression on her face.

"Go" he mouthed to me and I gave a gentle nod before leaving.

Slow update, I know and I'm sorry.....I have a new book that I'll publish maybe later today or tomorrow, it's for a contest and I want you guys to check it out...it's called Kiss and Tell.
