Chapter 503
Comeback Of The Adored Heiress
Chapter 503:
âI didnât think youâd be this good. What happened earlier? You werenât anywhere near this level,â Wesley said, sounding both impressed and a little uneasy.
âI wasnât playing seriously at the start, but since you all insisted I give my best, this is what happens when I actually play,â Madisyn gave a casual shrug. Though her words were cocky, they werenât annoyingâher skills backed them up.
The group couldnât help but give Madisyn a round of applause.
Jada glanced down at her phone and realized she was out of money. She still needed to promote her company, and it hit her hard. She had hoped to use tonightâs winnings to help boost its image, but now she was left wondering where sheâd scrape together more funds.
As midnight approached, the birthday party finally came to a close. The yacht gradually docked, and one by one, the guests began to step off.
Jada and Wesley walked together as they overheard two people ahead of them laughing and chatting.
âIf Madisyn hadnât called her out, I never wouldâve caught how layered Jadaâs words were. She acted like she was patching things up, but really, she was making it seem like Madisyn had no skills,â
âExactly! It takes me back to that other time; Jada was totally scheming back then too.â
âWeâd better steer clear of her from now on, or we might end up in trouble without even realizing it.â
Jadaâs face went pale. Once the center of envy and admiration, she now felt like an outcast, with whispers and gossip swirling around her.
âWhat are you talking about? If you keep this up, youâll regret it!â Wesley stormed over, glaring at the two and scolding them fiercely.
The pair, startled, clung to each other and quickly made their escape.
Seeing Jadaâs distress, Wesley hurried to comfort her. âJada, donât let their nonsense get to you. Theyâre Madisynâs friends, and naturally, they wonât have a high opinion of you. Theyâre just jealous, thatâs all.â
âThanks, Wesley. No matter what, youâre always here for me.â Jada was touched by his support.
Wesley scratched his head with a laugh, his eyes sparkling with excitement. âOh, and by the way, the racing competition is coming up in less than two months. If youâve got the time, letâs squeeze in some more practice.â
âDefinitely! Iâll reach out when I have some free time,â Jada replied with a warm smile.
Madisyn, Andrew, and her family were the last to leave. Suddenly, a sound echoed from above. Madisyn turned to see fireworks lighting up the dark blue sky like a dazzling curtain. The colorful bursts gradually formed a message: âMadisyn, Happy Birthday.â
Madisyn covered her mouth in astonishment, gazing at Andrew and her family.
âHappy birthday, my dear. May you continue to grow even more beautiful and remain confident,â Elaine smiled warmly, offering her blessings.
Glennâs eyes softened with love as he said, âHappy birthday, my precious daughter.â
Dane grinned. âMadisyn, happy birthday! Weâre so grateful youâve come back and made our family whole again.â He added, âMadisyn, you wonât have to chase after happiness anymore. Weâll be with you every day, sharing countless birthdays together and all your joys and sorrows.â
Dane glanced at his brother, feeling a bit overshadowed by his touching speech.
Waylon flashed a warm smile and said, âMadisyn, I promise Iâll make plenty of money for you in the future. Feel free to spend however you like. Just make sure youâre happy every single day.â
As she listened to their heartfelt blessings, tears welled up in Madisynâs eyes.
Andrewâs eyes shone with particular tenderness in the moonlight. His voice was soft and refined as he said, âFrom now on, may your days be filled with joy and free from pain. Happy birthday, Madisyn. I look forward to spending my life with you.â
âThank you all so much. Having each of you here is my greatest joy,â Madisyn said, her voice choked with emotion as she wiped away her tears.
âLetâs head back now. Itâs been a long day for you. You should see what gifts youâve received,â Elaine said with a warm smile.
The gifts had been sent to Madisynâs villa by her assistant. Once home, Madisyn began unwrapping them in the living room, with Andrew right beside her. âIâve gotten so many gifts in my past,â she said with amazement. She had never celebrated her birthday before and never imagined receiving so many presents all at once.
Andrew gazed at her with a soft, tender expression, his fingers gently running through her hair. There was a trace of sadness in his eyes as he spoke, âFrom now on, youâll receive this many gifts for every birthday.â
âThat makes me incredibly happy,â Madisyn replied, smiling brightly.
It took her over an hour just to unwrap all the gifts from others. After carefully setting them aside, she began to open the presents from her family and Andrew.
Her mother had gifted her a collection of lavish cosmetics and a custom-made dress.
Her father had given her a new house and a sleek car. Daneâs gift was a small businessâa token of his confidence in her ability to thrive and innovate. Howard had surprised her with a high-tech robot. Waylonâs gift was a credit card and a collection of celebrity autographs, their value potentially reaching millions.
Every gift was distinctive in its own way. At last, she turned her attention to Andrewâs present.
Inside was a set of exquisite jewelry and a breathtaking ring. The simple white band ring gleamed beautifully from every angle.
âI made this myself. Try it and see if it fits,â he said, his gaze exceptionally tender.
Madisyn placed the ring in his hand, and Andrew was momentarily taken aback. Was she not pleased with it?
