Norton quickly turned around and ran out of his mansion. Maxine watched his receding back with an unreadable expression in her eyes.

When Norton arrived at Sunflower Park, the first thing he saw was Jada being pulled by two men. Her clothes were torn, almost revealing her private parts. This scene immediately ignited the anger in Norton’s heart. He rushed over, punched one man down, kicked the other, and pulled Jada up from the ground. “Are you okay?” Norton asked concernedly.

Jada looked at him, her eyes red and filled with evident fear. She immediately hugged him and cried out loud. She pressed her soft body against his chest, making him feel very uncomfortable. “I’ll take you out of here first,” he said awkwardly.

Norton took Jada to the car and was about to call the police when she hugged him again. “Norton, I’m so scared,” she cried out.

“It’s okay. I’ll make those two pay for what they did to you,” Norton said comfortingly.

But Jada still couldn’t stop crying. She hugged Norton so tightly he almost couldn’t breathe. She raised her head, exposing her plump and soft body under her torn neckline. When Norton noticed this, he immediately took off his T-shirt and put it on her.

“Thank you, Norton. If you hadn’t come in time, I couldn’t imagine what could have happened to me.”

“What were you doing here at this time of night?”

When Jada opened her mouth to speak, her eyes turned red again. At this moment, she looked particularly delicate and lovely. If others saw her like this, they would definitely want to hold her tightly and coax her. She looked at Norton, her big, watery eyes filled with caution and sadness. “I was too sad, so I came here alone to take a walk. I didn’t expect to encounter such a thing.”

Jada clutched her chest, looking at Norton and asking, “Can you tell me why?”

“Jada, we are just friends. Maybe you’re just not used to the situation.” Finally, Norton found his voice after a long time.

Jada looked at him affectionately and said softly, “Norton, I expected you to say something like that. But I am very sure that I love you. If you don’t love me, I won’t force you. Instead, I will silently wish you happiness. If Maxine makes you unhappy one day, you can come to me.”

After saying this, she forced a smile.

Norton had a complicated expression. Jada’s confession was completely beyond his expectations. “But Maxine…”

Jada put her finger on Norton’s lips to stop him from talking. Then she said, “You don’t have to refuse me now. I won’t ask you for anything. Can you just drive me home?”

Norton fell silent for a moment. Then he nodded. “Okay.”

Jada headed back to the Riggs family’s house. Everyone was already asleep at this hour, and Jada was still scared, so she asked Norton to send her to her room.

“Have a good night. I’m leaving now,” Norton said and turned around to leave. However, Jada suddenly grabbed his hand and said, “Norton, I have one last wish.”

Norton looked at her in confusion. Before he could react, Jada stood on her tiptoes and moved her face closer to his.

She wanted to kiss him on the lips, but she failed because he suddenly realized what she was up to and pushed her away. “Jada, what are you doing?” Norton asked with a frown, shocked and not expecting Jada to do such a thing.

Jada looked at Norton, aggrieved. “This is my last wish. Can you fulfill it? After this, I won’t bother you anymore.” Jada was bold enough to say those words because she was sure Norton would not refuse her. She knew that for men, an affair was always thrilling and appealing.

Jada was beautiful and sexy, and Norton didn’t even need to be responsible for her. How could he refuse her? So, she patiently waited for his kiss.

“Jada, I didn’t expect you to be this kind of person.” Jada subconsciously froze when she heard the cold and harsh voice in front of her. She slowly opened her eyes, and Norton’s expression was filled with disgust and disappointment.

Jada didn’t know what had gone wrong; all she felt now was a sharp pain in her heart. “Norton, please don’t say this to me. I… I love you so much. I don’t want you to hate me.” Tears streamed down Jada’s face. “I’m sorry. I feel like I’m about to go crazy because of my love for you. I’m sorry…”

Norton didn’t say anything more. He just turned around and left.
