Chapter 179

Comeback Of The Adored Heiress

Chapter 179:

After the concert, Annis and her friends were about to head home, having thanked Madisyn for the tickets. Just as they were about to grab a taxi, Madisyn made a warm suggestion, “How about we grab dinner together before we all leave?”

“Sure! I’ll cover the bill,” Annis quickly replied. “Thanks again for everything tonight, Madisyn. What would you like to eat? It’s on me!” The other two chimed in, offering to split the bill as well. Madisyn couldn’t help but laugh at their eagerness and sweetness.

“Alright, let’s head to the AMK restaurant just around the corner,” she said. The place was close by but quite pricey. Annis, without hesitation, agreed.

Once they arrived at a private dining room, Annis turned to Madisyn, asking her to pick the dishes. The two other girls were caught off guard when they noticed Andrew. His strikingly handsome face left them speechless, his features so perfectly sculpted that it seemed like a divine artist had created him with extra care.

They sat there, silently admiring him. Madisyn placed the order, but Waylon had yet to arrive, so she sent him a quick message: “When will you get here?” There was no response. Meanwhile, Annis and her colleagues reminisced about the concert.

“Tonight’s concert was amazing, just like all of Waylon’s performances. He looked so handsome,” Annis said.

“Haha, I’ve already praised him online. He keeps getting better and better! I’m thrilled!” Emeline added.

“This is the closest I’ve ever been to Waylon. It might be the closest I’ll ever get to him in my life,” Emeline sighed.

Just then, the door to the private room swung open. “Sorry I’m late,” Waylon said as he entered, still wearing the black punk suit with a metallic finish from the concert. The room fell silent as his presence filled the space, his rugged handsomeness captivating them. Annis tugged at Emeline’s sleeve, whispering, “Pinch me! I think I’m dreaming!”

“No, you pinch me first! I think I’m dreaming too,” Emeline replied. After pinching each other and feeling the sting, they realized they were very much awake—Waylon was truly there!

Despite thinking he might have entered the wrong room, they quickly moved toward him. “Could we get your autograph, Waylon?”

“I’ve been a fan for years!” they exclaimed.

Waylon, smiling playfully, spoke in a soft, soothing voice, “Of course. Just come up one at a time.”

He signed autographs for each of them. Emeline, who moments earlier had thought the concert would be her only close encounter with Waylon, now had tears in her eyes.

“What’s wrong?” Waylon asked, concerned. Though he had a laid-back demeanor, he always showed care for his fans.

“I’m okay,” Emeline said, wiping her tears. “I just never expected to be this close to you. Did you come to the wrong room? Are you leaving soon?” The group looked at Waylon, not wanting him to go.

“I’m actually here for dinner,” he said with a grin.

The group was stunned. Waylon approached Madisyn and explained, “This is my friend. She told me her friends were fans of mine and wanted to have dinner with me. Turns out, it’s you three!”

The girls were in disbelief. Madisyn was actually friends with Waylon! Annis turned to Madisyn with wide eyes, “Madisyn, are you from a wealthy family?”

“Kind of,” Madisyn said with a smile.

The girls were so overwhelmed they nearly fainted. Sitting next to Waylon for dinner, their excitement was nearly unbearable.

Throughout the meal, Waylon was the perfect gentleman. He kept their glasses full and showed genuine interest in them. It all felt like a dream come true.

Meanwhile, Andrew’s focus was entirely on Madisyn. He kept serving her food, making sure she had everything she needed. “You’ve lost weight while I was away,” he said, looking at her with concern. Madisyn, touching her now rounder belly, fell silent, pondering his words. Despite her slight weight gain, Andrew always worried she was too thin.

As they enjoyed the dinner, Annis and her colleagues, concerned Waylon might have other commitments, reassured him he could leave anytime.

“It’s alright. I don’t have any other plans,” Waylon said, easing their worries.

As the group left, tears of gratitude welled up in their eyes. Waylon was even more wonderful than they had imagined. He watched them get into a taxi, waving them off with a warm smile.

Once they were gone, Madisyn’s phone buzzed with messages from her colleagues, all expressing how deeply moved they were by the evening’s events.

“They really admire you,” Madisyn told Waylon.

“I truly appreciate that,” he responded, his usual carefree attitude replaced with sincerity. He then playfully tried to put his arm around Andrew’s shoulder, but realizing Andrew was taller, quickly withdrew his arm. “Long time no see, buddy. Have you moved back to Ansport?” Waylon asked.

“Yeah,” Andrew replied.

Turning to Madisyn, Waylon added, “And when Andrew’s not around, make sure to take good care of yourself.”

“Got it, Waylon,” she replied with a smile.

After some pleasant conversation, they all eventually headed home. Saying goodbye to Andrew tugged at Madisyn’s heart, but she had other matters to attend to. She quickly sent the concert photo to Evie.

Meanwhile, Kian, feeling unsettled after Teresa’s snide comments at the concert, decided to visit Evie instead of staying with Teresa. Evie was in the practice room, working on her acting.

Surprised to see him, Evie smiled, “I thought we weren’t having dinner together.”

Kian’s heart warmed at her happiness, though he knew he wouldn’t marry her because she was just an ordinary girl. “How could I ever break a promise?” he grinned, conveniently forgetting the many times he had done just that.

“Darling, are you done with your practice?”

“In a bit. Just wait for me,” Evie said, focused on her discipline. Kian sat by the door, waiting. While practicing, Evie checked her phone and saw Madisyn’s message. She opened the photo, and a chill ran down her spine as she took in what she saw.
