Chapter 151
Comeback Of The Adored Heiress
Chapter 151:
The dining area was filled with gasps of astonishment.
âWhat a beautiful lady!â
âIs such a gorgeous woman really a paparazzo?â
âMaybe Tatiana got it wrong?â
With her striking features, this woman could easily have been a celebrity rather than a paparazzo. The crowdâs opinion began to tilt in Madisynâs favor. Tatiana, overhearing the murmurs, felt a surge of indignation. What was so special about this woman? To her, Madisyn appeared nothing more than seductive and manipulative.
âHumph, youâre here only to seduce someone, arenât you? But youâve picked the wrong place!â Tatiana snapped. âSecurity, take her phone now!â
One of the security guards stepped forward hesitantly, glancing apologetically at Madisyn. âMiss, Iâm sorryâ¦â he began, reaching out to take her phone. But before he could, his own phone rang.
He quickly answered the call, and as he listened, his expression shifted. He turned to look at Madisyn with disbelief.
âWhat are you waiting for?â Tatiana demanded, visibly annoyed.
The guard straightened, his demeanor now calm and composed. âIâm sorry, Miss Fernandez, but I cannot comply,â he replied. âThis lady is one of our VIP guests. Moreover, due to recent events, your membership level will be downgraded, and you will no longer have access to this floor.â
Tatianaâs face blanched. âWhat are you talking about?â
âMiss Fernandez, please leave now. Donât disturb our VIP guest,â the guard insisted firmly.
Carmine Rose upheld strict membership tiers, and Tatiana had reached Level Five mainly because of her frequent visits with Corbett, which allowed her access to exclusive candlelit dinners on this floor. A downgrade meant losing these privileges, potentially taking another year to restore.

VIP status was reserved for the likes of the Kleins and three other illustrious families. Who, then, was Madisyn really?
Murmurs of astonishment rippled through the crowd. They had admired Madisynâs beauty but hadnât anticipated her influential connections. The idea that someone like Madisyn would stoop to taking secret photos of Tatiana now seemed absurd.
âSo, Tatiana got it completely wrong,â someone whispered.
âDoes she think everyone will pay attention to her?â
âExactly. Why was she so sure that lady was taking photos of her? Sheâs not even on the same level as this lady, neither in looks nor background.â
âIâm curious which prestigious family this lady belongs to.â
The crowdâs murmurs grew louder, their tone incredulous and increasingly critical of Tatiana. With each passing comment, Tatianaâs complexion grew paler, the mocking tones cutting deep. She opened her mouth to retort but found herself speechless, overwhelmed by the situation. Defeated and humiliated, she turned on her heel and walked back to her seat.
Corbett had been watching the unfolding drama with a frosty demeanor. His expression toward Tatiana grew colder. âI have some business to handle later. You can head back on your own,â he said dismissively.
Tatiana opened her mouth to explain, but Corbettâs focus was already back on his meal. A wave of helplessness washed over her. She had strived to become a top actress, aiming to marry into a better family. Getting close to Corbett had been no small feat, and now, this debacle might have ruined everything. Regret gnawed at her.
Who the hell was that woman? Not only had Tatiana failed to achieve what she wanted, but she had also made a fool of herself in the process. Resentment toward Madisyn simmered within her. If only Madisyn hadnât been taking pictures, she wouldnât have jumped to conclusions.
The long-awaited meal now tasted bland and unsatisfying.
Meanwhile, Madisyn was enjoying her evening. When Andrew rejoined her at the table, she continued her meal with a smile, not mentioning the earlier incident. Andrew didnât ask either; instead, he quietly kept serving her food with a gentle smile.
After they finished, Madisyn and Andrew made their way to the parking lot. A man had been watching them there intently.
Madisyn glanced over and noticed the man shared some resemblance with Andrew but carried a far more sinister aura. As they drew closer, the man smirked and licked his lips.
âAndrew, long time no see,â he greeted.
âYes, it has been a while,â Andrew replied, maintaining a neutral expression. âI heard youâve found someone special. Congratulations.â
âYouâve got someone yourself, havenât you?â Corbett, Andrewâs cousin, responded with a sly glance at Madisyn. âYour taste remains exceptional. Sheâs just as stunning as the ones before her.â
Andrewâs expression tightened. âCorbett, mind your words.â
Madisyn, initially intrigued by Corbettâs comment, sensed from Andrewâs response that it was a deliberate provocation.
What a cunning guy, she thought.
âItâs fine. As long as Iâm the one with Andrew now, thatâs what matters,â she said with a soft smile, holding onto Andrewâs arm. âBesides, Iâm flattered by your comparison. It seems you think quite highly of me.â
Corbett was stunned, his usual quick retorts failing him. Normally, such a comment like his would provoke jealousy or anger. In fact, Andrew didnât have any previous girlfriendsâCorbett was merely trying to provoke a reaction. But Madisyn hadnât taken the bait; she seemed genuinely flattered.
âIt looks like she really loves you, Andrew. Thatâs comforting to know. Your happiness is my happiness, too,â Corbett said, forcing a smile though his eyes didnât match his words. âWell, I should get going.â
âAre things serious with Tatiana?â Andrew asked.
âAbsolutely. Tatiana and I are deeply in love,â Corbett replied earnestly, though his amused smirk lingered.
As Corbett walked away, Madisyn and Andrew headed to their car.
âYour family is quite a handful!â Madisyn remarked.
âDefinitely not as easy-going as yours,â Andrew agreed, looking at her tenderly.
âAre you intimidated?â
âWhy should I be?â Madisyn shrugged. âSince heâs your cousin, Iâll make sure to teach him manners after weâre married.â
