Chapter 1407
Comeback Of The Adored Heiress
Chapter 1407:
Calan glanced at it for a moment, then reached out and shook her hand. He said, âThank you.â
âYouâre welcome.â
Susie smiled and left. Calan, on the other hand, returned to his table and sat opposite Lilyana.
âDonât you want to eat?â he asked, looking at the remaining food in front of Lilyana.
Lilyana shook her head, her delicate features calm as she gently pushed an untouched plate toward Calan, asking him to eat it.
Calan sensed Lilyana didnât have a good appetite today. He thought for a while and said, âYesterday, Collier mentioned a new restaurant. He said the food there tastes very good. How about we go there after school today?â
âSure!â Lilyana agreed without hesitation.
After school, Calan, Lilyana, and Collier walked out of the campus gates together. Collier led the way, chatting enthusiastically about the restaurant.
As soon as they arrived, they immediately placed their orders. While waiting for the food to be served, Lilyana sat quietly, her mood noticeably different. Collier, picking up on this, leaned forward slightly and asked, âHey, Lilyana, is something bothering you?â
Lilyanaâs fingers stilled on her glass, and her eyes flickered toward Collier. She shook her head. âNo, Iâm fine.â
Collier frowned slightly. He glanced at Calan before standing up. âAlright, then. Iâll go to the restroom.â
âWait! Iâll go with you,â Calan said, standing up as well. The two of them left the private room together.
As they walked through the hallway, Collier couldnât help but ask, âHey, Calan, did anything happen today that upset Lilyana at school?â
Calan shook his head. âLilyanaâs the same as usual today. Nothing happened.â
Collier pinched his chin thoughtfully. âThatâs strange. Sheâs definitely upset. But why?â

Neither Collier nor Calan could figure it out. Finally, Collier said, âNo matter why sheâs upset, we should find a way to cheer her up.â
âHow do we do that?â Calan asked, frowning slightly.
Collierâs gaze shifted as he rubbed his chin, thinking of a way to make Lilyana feel better. Then, as if on cue, his attention was drawn outside the window. He noticed two people dressed in colorful, outlandish costumes, handing out flyers.
âI get it!â Collier suddenly exclaimed. His eyes lit up with excitement as his idea took shape. He snapped his fingers and said enthusiastically, âCalan, follow me.â
Inside the private room, Lilyana sat at the table alone. She glanced at the door a few times, wondering why Collier and Calan hadnât returned yet. Suddenly, there was a knock, and the door was pushed open. She subconsciously looked up. But instead of Collier and Calan, she saw two adorable mascots waddling in.
âAre there still mascots in restaurants nowadays?â Lilyanaâs eyes widened in confusion as she watched the two mascots slowly make their way toward her.
The lively, festive music suddenly filled the room, and Lilyanaâs attention was drawn to the mascot on the left. With a dramatic flourish, the mascot reached behind its back as though to pull something out of thin air. With a grand, almost magical gesture, the mascot revealed a delicate bellflower.
