Chapter 179
The Heiress’ Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call
Chapter 179 Personal Tutor
Wynter was in the middle of buying a hot dog.
After scanning the QR code to pay the vendor, she handed the hot dog to Margaret and said, âI guess
itâs possible. Stranger things have happened.â
âThen who do you think the hacker is?â Margaret asked bluntly.
Wynter smiled. âI think itâs L.â
âL?â Margaret was baffled. âJust a letter?â
âItâs a codename, Grandma,â Wynter explained patiently, âEvery hacker on the internet has a codename
to keep their real identities a secret.â
Margaret paused before asking, âHow do you know so much about these things, Wynter?â
âWolf told me,â Wynter answered frankly. âHe even showed me Lâs biography. Apparently, L hacked into
a bankâs system at the age of six. Heâs something of a computer prodigy.â
âWolf has always been fascinated by strange things like that,â Margaret muttered.
âHmm, indeed,â Wynter agreed with a nod.
âL did a pretty good job,â Margaret remarked.
Wynter laughed. âWhat makes you say that?â
âDidnât you hear your schoolmates praising him? He served justice!â Margaret snorted, which was.
endearing. âThat unscrupulous Ms. Greene deserves to have her ugly colors revealed like that.â
Wynterâs smile deepened when she heard this
Just then, Margaret changed the subject. âIâm worried about this whole retakingâtheâtest business. I
asked Emest about tutoring you the last time, and he was more than happy to help.
âWhy donât you have him come over and stay at our place tonight?â
âStay at our place?â Wynter, for all her calculations, never expected this development. âHave a little
faith in me, Grandma.â
âI do have faith in you,â Margaret placated. She would not be guiltâtripped by Wynter. âI just think itâs
better to be safe than sorry. If you donât call Ernest, then Iâll do it myself.
âHe told me to call him if anything ever happened to you.â
Wynter gaped at her grandmother. She was rarely shocked, but now she realized that things could
really
get out of her control.
âFine,â she relented. âIâll call him later and have him come over tomorrow.â
She only agreed so that Margaret would stop hounding her about this. After all, Wynter was confident
she
did not need to study.
It would be hard for her to get any work done if Ernest, her ridiculously beautiful patient, came over.
She hadnât forgotten that her liveâstreaming channel was blocked.
The timing of Karinaâs downfall, coupled with the complaints against Wynterâs liveâstreaming channel
and the troll armyâs company background, was too coincidental.
As Wynter tapped the smooth and sleek back of her phone, she had a feeling she knew who was
behind
all this.
Meanwhile, Wanda was entertaining Fiona throughout the party. She had prepared a luxurious seafood
spread and opened a bottle of 1992 Lafette.
She had no idea that her first move against Wynter had failed.
The smile on her face sl*pped when she got a call from Karina explaining what had happened at the
school. âWhat? Wynter wasnât expelled?â
Karina refrained from telling the whole truth and merely said, âItâs not as if I can stop Mr. Lopez from
keeping her around.â
âWhat about her cheating on the test and scoring perfect grades on her papers?â Wanda demanded.
Karina thought quickly. âI mean, youâve seen her results. She definitely cheated.â
âThen everything will be fine,â Wanda said, cheering up instantly. âYouâre as efficient as ever, Ms.
Greene.â
A twinge of guilt seized Karina, but she was out of options. âMrs. Yates, Iâve officially crossed a line with
Mr. Lopez and got myself fired. Could you help me out?â
âHave the Lopez family gone cuckoo? How ridiculous,â Wanda pointed out smugly. âTheyâve been
getting on my nerves for ages.
âIf Victor insists on protecting Wynter unconditionally, then I might as well kill two birds with one stone.
Iâll write a letter to the Education Ministry later!â
