Chapter 1350
The Heiress’ Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call
Chapter 1350 Surrounded by Threats
Cyrusâ shift in values was heavily influenced by his trusted âfriendsâ and âconnectionsâ, which were maneuvered by Opheliaâs relatives.
Wynter realized that they might not intend to destroy the Whitman family outright. Instead, they were hoping to forge a close relationship with Cyrus, who was the Whitman familyâs heir.
To that end, they had indulged in Cyrusâ whims and even introduced new friends to him, some of whom were dispatched by the Wray family.
Though Wynter had vetted those affiliated with the Whitman family, she was surprised to find that she missed two individuals from Cyrusâ circle. Had she not tracked down the IP address of the video Orson sent, she might have completely overlooked it.
Relationships within a bigger family were typically intricate. Wynter had never thought that was the case before, mainly because her brothers were unmarried, and she didnât have many extended family members.
But it was different with the Whitmansâshe might miss an important detail if she took things lightly.
The Wray familyâs scheme was relatively straightforward. They hadnât just planned to incriminate the Blaise family with an edited video but also anticipated they would take legal action to defend their brand against the slander.
The Blaise family would soon discover that the slanderer was Cyrusâ friend, based on the IP address traced to his specialty store. Ultimately, the Whitman family would be left in a compromising situation.
After all, the Whitman family had steadfastly stood by the older industries and provided extensive support to local businesses. And yet, they were found to be stabbing the Blaise family in the back.
Wynter could readily foresee the intense backlash that would follow if such a scheme succeeded. She forcefully seized Cyrus by the collar and dragged him to the door.
Surprised by Wynterâs sudden shift in demeanor, Cyrus stared at her and exclaimed, âYou werenât like this in front of Grandpa. What are youâ¦â
âI have to show Grandpa and Uncle Noah some respect in their presence, but theyâre not here now. Itâs time to see what âgoodâ you have done,â Wynter retorted calmly, though her eyes were cold.
Stunned, Cyrus was left wondering what had gotten into her head.
âAre you aware of the relationship between the Whitman and Blaise families?â Wynter questioned as she
walked.
âGrandpa mentioned we should support Mr. Blaise more since his company is struggling,â Cyrus affirmed.
Wynter turned to him in surprise. âSo, you do know about them.â
âOf course I do. I was the one who gifted them their uniforms,â Cyrus replied as he adjusted his necktie.
Wynter hadnât expected that answer. She frowned and posed a question, âBut why didnât Grandpa and Uncle Noah learn about this?â
Cyrus cleared his throat and explained, âI sent the uniforms in secret under the alias âMr. W.â
âOh, Iâm sure Mr. Blaise has recognized you,â Wynter hummed.
Cyrus looked shocked by her statement. âHow do you know?â
âYouâre the only one in the family involved in the clothing business. Whatâs more, youâre using such a notable alias.

âBut putting that aside, what would you do if your best friend was planning to create a rift and ruin both the Whitman and Blaise families?â Wynter bluntly asked, meeting Cyrusâ gaze.
Cyrus instinctively tried to brush Wynterâs remark aside as a joke, but he suddenly recalled the incident with Easton. His voice sounded strained when he replied, âIf that were the case, Iâd make sure he faced the consequences.â
Hearing that, Wynter gave a faint smile. âIt seems thereâs still hope for you, after all.â
