Chapter 1071
The Heiress’ Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call
Chapter 1071 Rationality
Someone beside Georgia warned, âGeorgia, Ms. Quinnell has caused the suffering of many people. Why are you making such a fuss before her? Sheâs the heiress of the Quinnell family.â
âThatâs exactly why I have to resort to such tricks to deal with her.â
After noticing that everyone had left, Georgia sneered and said, âPerhaps weâre not as talented as her at handling a company, but she still has a long way to go before she learns how to handle people.
âI want to cling onto the Quinnell family, but she doesnât let me do so. Sheâs acting as if Iâm just a mere thorn in her side.
âAlthough the Martinez family isnât as wealthy as the Quinnells, we still have more connections than them. She also canât do anything to me if she considers my husbandâs identity.
âShe canât do whatever she likes just because sheâs rich. When they reach the courthouse theyâll know they canât get a divorce just because of a few text messages.
Georgia smiled menacingly as she continued, âThe courthouse wonât approve of the divorce. Even if it does, theyâll still have to go through a cooling period.â
Georgia was speaking the truth. It was hard for them to get a divorce now. But, of course, Wynter knew about it. She had studied law after all.
The first thing Wynter did after bringing Judith out was to take her to a comfortable cafe. Then, she called Sebastian.
âYes. I have a friend who would like to file for divorce. Sebastian, I thought you donât take such cases?â
Sebastian said something and Wynter quickly replied, âOf course, Iâll be more rest assured if you help with the case.â
After hearing Sebastianâs reply, she smiled and asked, âWhy do you want to be put up against him?â
Sebastian said, âThereâs an absolute need for comparison. How can you only ask
Albert for help regarding Grandpa Gordonâs situation? Heâs always cold and slow to react. How is he supposed to put on an act with you?â
Wynter could hear the jealousy in Sebastianâs voice and consoled him. âHeâs not as good as you. After all, youâre known as the smiling fox in the Hawford Legal Elites. Youâre even able to ruin a company on one of your good days.â
âIâm just alright. Okay, thatâs enough. Tell me about your friendâs situation.
âIf itâs inconvenient for you to tell me over the phone, you can send me the
information first. I want to talk to her myself, so Iâll read through the information on
my way over.â
Wynter approved of his decision to meet Judith himself and sent him their location before ending the call.
Judithâs gaze never left Wynter as she listened in to her call. She had been living in
the dark for too long. She couldnât help but feel inferior and envious when she remembered Wynterâs age.
Wynter highlighted a few points in Judithâs situation and asked, âOther than these
points, is there anything you would like to add?â
Judith held the cup of coffee in her hands and said, âNo. I wasnât wary of him back
then as weâve been living together.â
Wynter smiled. âI get it. You were married to him after all. Donât worry, Judith.â
Judith combed her fingers through her hair. âI have always hated college students.
But now, I only feel nervous when I see you.
âI understand that I was wrong for behaving that way, but I couldnât help myself. I
know I shouldnât generalize, but 1-â She wanted to explain herself.
Wynter put down her pen and said, âI get it. Her age is close to mine.â
âThatâs right. Sheâs not the only one too. She also brought along her best friend when she came to meet me.â Judithâs tone was filled with bitterness as she spoke.
She continued, âI was quite useless back then. After they all stared at me like that, I

only tried to cover up the truth. But they all made me feel as if all college students were willing to be mistresses.â
Wynter took a sip of her drink. âItâs their own choice. I know a number of them like to meet their lover by the street behind this building, right?â
âHow do you know?â Judithâs eyes widened in shock. That was not something Wynter was supposed to know.
Wynter smiled prettily. âJudith, did you forget that Iâm in the same age group with
them?â
