In the next instant, Kirk gripped Jane’s chin. It hurt so much that the pain spread from her jaw all the way down her body. Her face twisted into a scowl at the feeling.

As she frowned, she finally managed to take a good look at Kirk’s face.

“Who in the world are you?” Jane squeezed out with difficulty.

Sitting next to her, Liam gulped in fear at this. But soon, he became arrogant as well.

“The woman sitting next to me is Mrs. Collins. The other is Mrs. Morrison.

Kirk’s gaze landed on Liam. It was so grim that it terrified Liam into shaking unconsciously.

Coming inside, Sean heard Liam’s exaggerations and couldn’t help but laugh.

“Kirk, I think you’d better tell them who you are quickly. Let them die in peace.”

“Die … You want to kill us?” Jane’s face blanched. She went into a frenzy, trying to escape.

“If you touch a hair on my head, I’ll cut you up into bits!”

“Behave!” Charles kicked Jane’s chair.

“Do you really think the Collins family is as it was before? There won’t be a Collins family in Easton’s big four families from now on.

Charles said considerately, “Today, Mr. Kirk went to the Collins family’s banquet and cut off all partnerships with them. Plus, we won’t partner with any companies that work with the Collins Group.”

Jane’s lips went white. She stammered, “That can’t be. You’re lying to me, aren’t you?

“Daph, say something!” She turned to look at Daphne.

She finally noticed that Daphne was trembling, her face devoid of any color. She looked like she had suffered a huge blow.

“Daph, what’s wrong with you? You don’t have to be afraid of him. Once your husband is here, they’ll beg for mercy.”

Daphne kept shaking, her eyes filled with terror. She felt like there was a heavy weight on her head and kept it lowered. She couldn’t raise it at all.

“H–he’s already here,” she said.

Jane was ecstatic. “Where is he? How did you know? Does that mean we’re going to be saved now?”

“H–he’s… right i–in front of us!”

Jane was perplexed as she looked at the three men before her. “He’s not here. Other than these three, the villa’s-”

She suddenly stopped talking, and her eyes widened as she looked at Kirk in disbelief.

Jane knew Sean, but Charles definitely wasn’t Daphne’s husband!

Liam suddenly felt his world turn gray. He stared at Kirk as he prayed for the man to deny it.
