Chapter 130
Chasing My Pregnant Wife
Divorce. It was about the divorce again..
Theodore tightened his grip over the door handle.
Yes, they should be getting a divorce!
âTheodore, we agreed to get our hands on our resident register today. If you leave just like this, Iâ¦â
âIf I donât leave now, should I stay here and sleep with you?â
His voice betrayed the frustration beneath.
âThen tell me where youâre going. Are you heading home, or are you. going to find Cynthia?â
Since he couldnât find relief from Rosalie, it was a likely possibility that he might look for Cynthia in
the middle of the night.
It would have been fine if Rosalie simply asked him if he was heading
homeâbut she had to mention Cynthiaâs name, of all things.
Theodoreâs brows furrowed as he turned around, and said sharply,â Find Cynthia, of course!â
Rosalieâs heart fell, and she clutched her chest. âWeâre not yet
divorced. If you go looking for another woman, where does that leave. me? Canât you just bear with
it for one night?â
âWhat about you? Weâre not yet divorced, and you refuse to let me touch you. What else can I do?â
âDidnât I say I can help you in other ways?â
âI donât want any other way! I just want the normal way that husbands.
and wives do!â Theodore exploded, frustrated.
He glared at her, his eyes deep and dark as he said, âCan you do it?â
Rosalie instinctively touched her belly under the sheets. She would surely agree to itâif not for this
chi. She felt miserable and wretched inside, but she didnât explain herself to him. She could only let
the indignation she felt inside turn into anger.
âLeave, then. Go find Cynthia and do whatever you please!â
With that, she laid back down on the bed and pulled the sheets over her head, and began sobbing.
âBaby, Iâm sorry. Mommy is useless and couldnât let Daddy stay. I canât tell him the truth, either.
Since I canât let him go all the way, how can I stop him from leaving? Since weâre about to a divorce,
Iâll let him be. Mommy feels too tired from all these!â she lamented inwardly.
де
After a long while, Rosalie poked her head out from the sheets and realized that Theodore truly was
gone.
Rosalie wiped the tears from her face, and looked down at her belly.â Baby, donât you worry. Even
without Daddy, I can take good care of you.â
She felt so miserable, she had completely forgotten about the key.
After a long while, she suddenly felt tightness in her chest and had difficulty breathing. Each time
she closed her eyes, she could see Theodore being intimate with Cynthia.
Did he really look for her and sleep with her?
No, she had to find something to do to distract herself.
Rosalie washed her face to perk herself up, before carefully tipâtoeing
into Grandmaâs room.
Since Theodore had left, she had to sneak the resident register out herself and call Theodore
tomorrow.
Rebeccaâs room wasnât locked from the inside. She was advanced in years, after all. If she were
locked herself in and an accident occurred, no one could go to her rescue.
This was how Rosalie managed to successfully sneak into
Grandmaâs room.
She took out her phone, and switched the flashlight on. She tried her best not to shine it on
Rebecca lest she woke her up.
Rebecca was in deep sleep, and didnât realize that someone had entered her room.
Rosalie came to the place she discovered that day, and found the box. She couldnât open the box
right hereâit would be too risky. Instead, she held the box in her arms and tipâtoed out of the room.
She held her breath all the way until she returned to her room. She anxiously shut the door, locked
it, and placed the box on her bed before taking the key out with trembling hands.
