Chapter 1129
The Day I Kissed An Older Man
She was talking to Sunny for a moment, and the next, he was hauled off by a couple of men. Needing
time to process what just happened, she sipped her coffee while blinking.
âThat coffee must be really good for you to be in a daze,â teased Aaron.
His voice snapped Annie out of her shock. She quickly put her coffee down.
Aaron smiled at her. âDonât worry. Youâre allowed to have a little coffee break. But why didnât you order
one for me too?â
Annie got up to explain, âUmm⦠Actually, a colleague from another department bought this coffee,
and⦠We didnât get you one because we thought you wouldnât like cheap drinks like this.â
Not wanting to throw her colleagues under the bus, she explained it in such a way that would not offend
Aaron.
Aaron raised his eyebrow. âOh, really? What makes you think I wonât drink cheap drinks? Give it to me.
I want to have a taste!â
âHe wants to have a taste? But we didnât even order one for him!â Annie looked at him perplexedly.
Before she could react, Aaron picked up her coffee from the table and sipped.Books Chapters Are

âHey, itâs not bad. Tell them to get me one next time.â
Annieâs eyes widened in surprise, and colors began creeping in on her cheek. She looked at him in
confusion. âDid he really just drink from my cup?! Does that meanâ¦we kissed? No, Annie, youâre
overthinking things. The thought probably never crossed his mind since he changes girlfriends like he
changes underwear. Heâs probably used to having his way with women, so he didnât drink the coffee
because of me. In fact, he wouldâve drank the coffee if it were anyone else other than me!â
Annie shook her head to clear her head of unrealistic thoughts. She then took back her coffee and
threw it in the trash can. âOkay, Mister Aaron. Iâll ask them to order you one in the future.â
Aaron narrowed his eyes and glanced at the coffee in the trash can. Suddenly he chuckled and said, âI
didnât know you disliked me so much. Sorry for ruining your coffee.â
Annie frowned and said coldly, âItâs okay. I normally donât finish my coffee anyway.â
Aaronâs expression hardened. He was not used to being treated so coldly by Annie. After all, she used
to be madly in love with him before. Then again, was this not what he wanted?
Xante walked over and reminded him, âAaron, stop teasing the poor girl and get on with it.â
Aaron snapped out of his trance and said seriously, âMiss Annie, we need your help.â
Annie bowed slightly. âIâm always at your service, Mister Aaron.â
âAre you sure? âCause this isnât a work matter but a personal matter.â
Annie looked up curiously. âA personal matter? Do elaborate.â
âHeâs not going to ask me to buy condoms again, is he?â she wondered.
Aaron put his arm around Xanteâs shoulder. âWeâd like to go to the Holdensâ mansion, but weâre worried
they wouldnât welcome us. So, we were hoping youâll take us there. It should be easier for us to get in
since youâre Jeremyâs niece.â
Annie was a little taken aback by his request. âBut why do you want to go to Uncle Jeremyâs house,
Mister Aaron? Did something happen?â
