Chapter 294
Submitting To My Billionaire Ex-Wife
Chapter 294
âWhatâs the relationship now?â
Genevieve suspected that Anthony was deliberately making trouble for her!
Therefore, she ran outside without hesitation and wanted to go back immediately.
But Anthony insisted on taking her back for breakfast.
He repeatedly claimed it was for her health, spouting nonsense about the unhealthy effects of irregular eating habits or something!
The moment she saw him, her body couldnât recover!
The two of them shuffled to the door.
Then Genevieve heard Robbinâs voice.
Seeing Robbin, Genevieve naturally thought of what happened last night.
She felt a little embarrassed as an outsider.
Whether Robbin deliberately set a trap or not, it doesnât affect Genevieve to stay away from Anthony.
So she also waved at Robbin.
Due to the momentary carelessness of the person at the door, Robbin slipped in.
âGenevieve, why are you sleeping here?â She asked directly.
Genevieve looked a little uncomfortable. It was already prone to misunderstanding; if she explained, it would only make things worse by drawing unnecessary attention.
Anthony said impatiently, âBodyguard, why did you let her in!â
Just as the bodyguard was about to drive Robbin out, she grabbed Genevieveâs wrist, âHelp me. I only need ten
minutes.â

Chapter 294
Genevieve pursed her lips, recalling Robbinâs warning to be cautious of Carrie.
Together with her pathetic background, Genevieve could not refuse the request.
She looked at Anthony and said, âTen minutes. Iâll have breakfast with her.â
Anthony was seething with anger, âDonât you know what she did last night?â
Genevieve gripped her fingers tightly, âDidnât you suffer a loss?â
Anthony gritted his teeth and tightened his jaw.
He thought, âForget it. Be friendly, and donât scold her!â
Robbin followed Anthony and Genevieve in.
After what happened last night, Robbinâs face showed no signs of guilt or regret.
She just put things in, and they filled the living room.
Anthony didnât even look at them as if he was ready to have them thrown out at any moment to keep his turf
clean.
He sat at the dinner table and watched Genevieve eat, insisting she finish her main course.
Robbin stood and said calmly, âWhat happened yesterday was my fault. Mr. Hoffman was innocent. I admit it, and I apologize!â
Although her apology was insincere.
Anthony snorted flatly.
Robbin took a deep breath and said, âMy mother asked me to do this.â
Anthonyâs face darkened slightly and he glanced at her indifferently.
He didnât say anything, waiting for her to continue.
Genevieve had no appetite. She ate slowly.

Robbin seemed to be a stranger, disturbing their world.
Looking at the scene, she was a little uneasy.
Genevieve didnât have to do anything; she sat there and got everyoneâs attention.
It was unfair in this world!
âGenevieve is aware that I grew up under constant pressure from my mother. She commanded me to do it, and i couldnât afford to displease her. She intends to use me as a bridge to contact you, with the ultimate goal of dealing with Lucas and seizing control of the Simpson family,â Robbin explained.
Anthony glanced at Austin indifferently and lowered his eyes, âYouâve made it sound plausible and reasonable, please continue.â
It was not the first time that Anthony had seen such a logical trick. He said, âAre you angling for someone else to do the dirty work, or are you just trying to pass the buck?â
Robbin froze slightly. She bit her lower lip and said, âIâm telling the truth.â
âMs. Simpson, does your mother know you betrayed her so swiftly?â Anthonyâs words left Robbin feeling uneasy.
Her lips turned slightly pale, and she trembled as she spoke, âBetrayal? Iâm merely seeking an escape route for myself. Is that a betrayal of the past? She blamed me for all her wrongs because she offended you. I had no choice but to come here. Do you doubt my intentions so much? Ask Genevieve about what my mother did to her. What kind of person is my mother, really?â
Suddenly called, Genevieve hesitated briefly. She pondered, âI dislike Carrie, but how to articulate it? Is this merely a conflict of interests that should be magnified into a moral issue? Moreover, Carrie hasnât posed any real threat to me.â She felt slightly uneasy with Robbinâs remarks as if pressed to do something uncomfortable. She
mulled it over carefully in her mind.
Before she could refuse, Anthonyâs voice sounded indifferent, âGenevieve just met Carrie a few times. Donât try
to get her involved!â
Robbin looked up at him with a stiff face.
His partiality was too apparent.

Genevieve continued to eat, only slightly relieved.
She felt like she had escaped a close call.
Robbin was furious and said Indifferently, âI came to apologize and told the truth. If you want revenge, Iâll help you. Just think of it as what I owe you.â
Anthony looked at Genevieve indifferently.
He completely ignored what Robbin said.
Robbin felt so overlooked that she couldnât take it anymore.
She waited for a few minutes.
Anthony still didnât respond, and she walked out with a gloomy face.
When she was about to walk out of the door, Anthony suddenly said, âGood idea.â
Robbin stopped and looked back at him.
Anthony gently brought Genevieve a glass of milk and put it in front of her.
Then he glanced at Robbin disinterestedly and spoke casually, indifferently, âIâm not going to be used as a tool for your agenda for nothing. Iâd greatly appreciate it if you could show me your sincerity. Before we proceed with Carrie, I need you to provide a detailed layout of the Simpsonâs Residence, including any secret passageways.â
Robbinâs expression changed slightly, and said, âI donât have it.â
âIf you canât do this, you are not qualified to negotiate. Getting something for nothing isnât as easy as it seems,â
said Anthony indifferently.
He could see through Robbinâs mind at a glance.
Why would he believe what she said?
Robbin walked out with a gloomy face.
Anthony looked confused.

Genevieve looked up and pursed her lips, âAre you going to deal with the Simpson family?â
She had mixed feelings, although there were no real friends in the business world.
But the people who were friends last night started plotting in a flash?
Anthony kept his emotions in check and smiled nonchalantly. âIf she succeeds in getting the drawings, sheâs ambitious. If not, sheâs just trying to use me. Why should I assist her?â
He took it for granted.
Genevieve was dumbfounded.
âWhat a profiteer!â she thought.
She stood up and said, âIâm done eating. I have to go back to the hotel. Jasper and others are still waiting for
me.â
Anthony would happily send her there as long as she was not going to Lucasâs place.
âDonât rush to find your brother because Mad Dog is also looking for him.â
